I use the regular chocolate bronzer. I bought it at TJ Maxx. It's definitely my favorite. Plus, I love the smell of chocolate in the morning.

Sephora has a monopoly on beauty influencers, so MAC new and iconic products completely get overlooked now.

Stila is so underrated. They were hyped up for their liquid shadows (that now everyone has) but the brand has so much more to offer. I’ve loved everything I’ve gotten from them.

I still have a Stila powder eye palette (one of those tatty cardboard ones with magnetic pans) from the late 90's which still works!! Hugely underrated brand. Kitten still a beautiful shade for all skin tones.

@@monejohn9973they don’t test on animals tho. People ditched them & called them not cruelty free because they sell to China & China forces EVERY makeup product sold to be tested on animals. So it wasn’t MAC doing the testing it was the Chinese government having 3rd party companies do the testing. Probably at MAC’s expense. MAC products in America & everywhere else in the world are cruelty free. I’ve known that since the beginning of the controversy & I don’t see how other people somehow don’t know this… Anyway China very recently changed its laws so now MAC is cruelty free in every country so all the haters can back tf off 😅

Stila convertible colours are amazing! I adore Lilium and Peony. The makeup artist on Bridgerton, Lynda Pearce, used Lilium on Daphne to give her a subtle rosy tint 😍.

The Stila cream blushes are legit.. a tried and true classic in my collection. They have these cute little bronzer/blush duos that are lovely as well 👌🏻

I've had my painterly pot for more than 4 years and it still works so good LOL. Just drier now so I moisturize my lids before using my painterly pot. Same performance and everything

I think it's just that so many products get introduced every year, and there are so many influencers now that praise all the new products. Speaking only for myself, I do tend to question if maybe a new product will work better for me. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

I am so glad you mentioned these products! I have so many of the Tarte Amazonian blushes and still use them, but I am going to try those Stila ones you mentioned in your video. Another great SHORT packed with great products😊

So true about the Mac paint pot. That’s the best eye shadow base. Now everyone uses other bases like milani or urban decay but that one does the job and stays on and colors are vibrant.

I will stan so hard for Stila always and those Convertible Color blushes especially. All you cream blush lovers, this is THE cream blush!! I wish Stila still had all the same colors like Poppy (bright red) and I feel like Peony might have changed tones too at some point. But the colors they do have are still great and everyone should talk abt them :)

Lillian (Edit: LILLIUM) is my ride or die color. You can’t mess it up and it looks good on everyone. It lasts forever too. I hit pan a few months ago (middle of pan to be exact) and still have at least a month of product left. Elf has a decent dupe…but it doesn’t compare to the original like their other dupes, (such as Halo Glow). Peony is a great shade for spring and summer too. (Or the old one does…I haven’t tried the new color. Gerbera is a solid choice too).

It’s fantastic butttttttt I do think it’s just a really creamy lipstick in a pot that looks great as a blush whereas newer cream blushes have ingredients that help with wear time (not all but most).

Stila cream blushes are my fav! I thought I was gatekeeping lol never realized a lot of others knew how amazing they are

I love my MAC Painterly paint pot as eyeshadow primer! I also use it every day. ❤

My favorite is setting powder, is the laura mercier powder, and nobody talks about it anymore 😂

It’s because there are so many powders now on the market, many are WAY better and more finely milled for way cheaper. Ex: Sheglam, One Size, KimChi, Uoma, Nyx.

My best life hack was discovering that a little bit of a neutral paint pot (I use Layin Low) on your nose keeps your foundation from separating too.

i love the tarte blush and KVD liquid liner! Too Faced has so many great products.

KVD Tattoo liner is og and SO GOOD! I still talk about it whenever I wear it lol Also Stila cream blushes are perfect imo. I have four colors and wear one every day. They figured out a formula way back and made a classic. I have others but this one feels amazing, looks natural and stays on.

I’ve been using painterly for years. My all time favorite! It can be used as a color correcting base/primer or as a “no makeup” minimalist look.

The paint pot is just amazing and haven’t found anything else that compares

Thank you for always including swatches! I so wish there was cruelty free alternative to the Mac Paint Pot. A few brands have tried (Colourpop 😢) but none successfully. I'm counting on Moira 😊

FACTS! I've been trying to convince my friends for years to get their makeup out of their bathrooms but they have resisted and I'm pretty sure their stuff is or has gone bad and they are still applying it to their faces 🫤

KVD eyeliner is now my go-to, living in Florida and sweating all the time, this is only eyeliner that stays!!❤

Painterly and Soft Ochre - I use those paint pots every day. Painterly for cold and soft ochre for warm looks. Great base ever, every eyeshadow sticks and blends perfectly.

Holy moly those Stila creme blushes…i had one of those in middle school. I’m talking 15+ years ago. They were around in the 2000s. I’ll never forget that compact design!

The tarte blushes are legit the BEST. I live in an island, so its very humid and hot and you can sweat buckets but when I use my tarte blush it will not budge. That thing will last the WHOLE day. Definitely worth the hype.

Most of these products are still best/high sellers. Honestly, what people talk about on social media is not a good metric of products people still love or talk about. Those on social media these days mainly concentrate on what’s sent to them and what’s trending for views.

Stila lillium was what was used on phoebe dynevor for daphne bridgerton! Looks so pretty and natural

Also Stila’s Kitten eyeshadow. It’s sooo giid

So right about the too faced bronzer. Perfect cool tone 🥰 but it has talc and I wish they came out with a talc free version like nars has done

Painterly and The tattoo liner are still in my daily rotation. I would add Benefit’s brow line and Maybelline’s great lash mascara.

I used to love the kvd liner too, until I tried the Em Cosmetics liner! Hands down the very best, and I have tried them all! So easy to work with! The search is over for me! 🥰

I love MACs paint pot in Tailor Grey for a super chill, one and done, slightly Smokey eye. It’s so pretty.

I have like 6 of the Tartes. Maybe more. They were on deep discount at one point. Such great colors. And the old school Too Faced palate for contour is even better than the Milk Chocolate. But I still love my Milk Chocolate also. Back in the day - way back - my friends and I would use the Terracotta bronzer. That was the best thing around in the 80s.

Yes to the KVD, yes to the STILA!, and yes to the TARTE :) I keep seeing all these “new” cream convertible cheek and lip covers and I thought to myself, “It’s been done before… I’m gonna get the OG stila one”. Another good OG is the stila cheek stain that came in a tube… seems like they sometimes bring it back for limited time.

Painterly is my favorite and I just picked up a Tarte blush, Paarty…I finished a mini. I still have one of those round Tarte pallet with the blushes, I keep forgetting that I have it and it’s still good.❤
