Before IPL Kapil Dev sit was running ICL. BCCI announced who will play ICL, HE will never be selected for Indian Squad. They Destroyed ICL and announced IPL

This was no less than a power game political thriller web series... Got to feel for Zee though... A classic example of survival of the fittest and also it is a great example of how to use your opposition's tactics to market your own benefits...

Subhash Chandra also took advantage of India's poor performance at worldcup 2007. As per him, ICL was needed to improve quality of Indian cricket.

In reality BCCI's wealth start destroying the game, they need to spend more money to save and enhance their players marketing values by making batters friendly pitches and atmosphere to progress their kid i.e. IPL. The recent T20i world cup is an example where their team punished due to unavailability of supporting pitches/atmosphere/schedule etc.

Yes it was CLT20 ...from 2009 to 2014. Last one didn't had much viewers. I watched it from 2009 to 2012. I too have forgotten about 13 and 14 editions.
