The case against Israel for genocide hasn't been heard yet. The previous case was to determine whether there was a high likelihood of international law being broken in relation to genocide and thereby whether a genocide case should be heard. It also put forward conditions that Israel should meet. This case similarly isn't hearing evidence of genocide but to force the cessation of arms sales in accordance to international law. The mention of genocide in this case is simply to point out that Israel is facing a hearing on this. International law includes articles that deal with assisting in genocide by supplying weapons when there is a high chance of genocide being committed. As the case against Israel in January found that there is a high chance of genocide thereby meaning that any country or individual supplying arms that could be used in genocide are complicit in genocide. This case will hopefully stop arms sales to Israel by Germany, UK and US.

Why isn't there a case like this against every western country supporting Israel? Serious question

INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE - THE U.S IS NOT ! ! SINCE OCTOBER 2023 - THE U.S. HAS PROMISED UNCONDITIONAL AID TO ISRAEL AND SENT 2 LARGE ARMS SHIPMENTS TO ISRAEL ( ONE WAS GIVEN SPECIAL CLASSIFICATION AND CIRCUMVENTED CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL ) THE U.S. IS CURRENTLY INTENDING TO SEND AN ADDITIONAL $18 BILLION OF ARMS & AMMO & FIGHTER JETS ( A RECENT WASHINGTON POST INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT 100 ARMS SHIPMENTS WERE SENT IN SECRET BY PRESIDENT BIDEN TO ISRAEL SINCE ISRAEL BEGAN ITS DEADLY SEIGE AND CARPET BOMBING OF GAZA IN OCTOBER ). THE U.S. ALONG WITH ISRAEL ( THE UNITED STATES OF ISRAEL) DO NOT RECOGNISE THE I.C.C. INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT - RELYING ON THE U.S. WEALTH AND MILITARY POWER AND U.N. VETO TO EXERCISE CONTROL OVER THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY RATHER THAN BE BOUND BY INTERNATIONAL LAWS. ISRAEL IS CURRENTLY ON TRIAL AT THE ICJ - INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE - FOR THE CRIME OF CRIMES - GENOCIDE IN GAZA - IN THE CASE BROUGHT BY SOUTH AFRICA - THAT CASE IS ONGOING - THERE IS MUCH EVIDENCE TO BE CONSIDERED AND THE FINAL RULING BY THE ICJ - WILL TAKE SOME TIME. HOWEVER, IN THE MEANTIME, THE ICJ MADE IMPORTANT INTERIM RULINGS ON 26 JANUARY WHICH WARNED ISRAEL TO AVOID ALL ACTIONS WHICH COULD CONTRAVENE THE CONVENTION ON GENOCIDE - TO WHICH IT IS A SIGNATORY - ALSO THAT ISRAEL MUST PROTECT ALL CIVILIANS IN GAZA - AND MUST ALLOW ALL AID INTO GAZA AND TO ITS PEOPLE. IN MARCH, THE ICJ STRENGTHENED IT'S EMERGENCY INTERIM ORDERS AGAINST ISRAEL IN VIEW OF THE MOUNTING MANMADE HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN GAZA. THE ICJ INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE - IS ACTING AS IT SHOULD.. .

Its because they support countries, instead of deciding what their values are and applying it to everyone. They want Putin prosecuted for bombing one hospital in Ukraine, but then supply Israel with weapons to destroy 32 hospitals in Gaza. Like Nelson Mandela once said "A man who changes his principle based on who he is dealing with, cannot lead a nation".
