cutting the fight in half and cutting back and forth did hurt it though. In the Manga, Ichibe versus Yhwach was peak, but in the anime, Yamamoto versus Yhwach was better. I wish they gave Ichibe the Yamamoto treatment

@@Javetts Nah, disagree. We've yet to see the true peak of the fight itself and in the manga the ichibei and Yhwach fight came at the cost at the entirety of squad 0 being at all competent as fighters.

I have never felt chills like I did when they completely rewrote squad zeros fight

I love how they gave all of Squad 0 an out for each of them being OP too. They were all locked from their true power so conceivably with all gloves off any one of them could have solo'd all the Sternritter and likely most of the Shinigami at once, that's truly befitting their station. Fully power Squad 0 all together would have literally broken the verse. I'm not surprised Kubo opted for the drip Queen to roll everyone up in a carpet and beat it though, fashion rules over all. Also really just sold how powerful she was as this almost timeless thing casually pseudo reality warping a perfect seal for each of the already OP Sternritter.

My theory is senjumaru creates her own universes to seal people. Also tbf breakinf the verse is the bare minimum we shld expect from squad 0. Cuz ichigo can literally hold hell down with his latent reiatsu, aizen can carve up shiningami with his reiatsu influence sealed massively AND unsealed he can just skip dimensional scales, ichibei is just ridiculous, and yhwach is also just yhwach.

The kon stuff was manga stuff that was cut out btw. Also they showed Ukitake in the earlier episodes of this season being in one the Rukongai distacts with his two third seats doing something.

Finale was amazing, especially for manga readers only bc the squad zero fight was never in the manga, it was only Ichibe vs Yhwach so almost everything in these episodes were brand new content

@@raphael-iu9wv he's not, not when Ichigo & Aizen are there, I can make a case for Aizen, due to his reiatsu, he was going to bring down the Royale Palace with his reiatsu from the SS but couldn't cuz he was restricted, and we know his reiatsu was able to contend with SK Yhwach's reiatsu as he was still able to affect Yhwach and counter the Almighty while Ichibei couldn't do anything, Aizen was stated to have held the Gates of Hell alongside Yhwach with their reiatsu, Shinigami can nullify others abilities with their reiatsu, Ichibei isn't doing anything to Aizen, especially when he's also fused with the Hogyoku, time and time again, Kubo has implied Aizen is on another level from the likes of Ichibei
