In this video, we'll show you Geysir eruption in 4k 60fps UHD. You'll never look at this natural wonder the same way again! Blesi is a geyser located in the Park Geysir. In this video, we'll show you the geyser in 4k 60fps UHD.
Geysir, sometimes known as The Great Geysir, is a geyser in southwestern Iceland. It was the first geyser described in a printed source and the first known to modern Europeans. The name Geysir itself is derived from the Icelandic verb geysa ("to gush"). Geysir lies in the Haukadalur valley on the slopes of Laugarfjall hill, which is also the home to Strokkur geyser about 50 metres (160 ft) south.
Eruptions at Geysir can hurl boiling water up to 70 metres (230 ft) in the air. However, eruptions may be infrequent, and have in the past stopped altogether for many years at a time.
Strokkur is a fountain-type geyser located in a geothermal area beside the Hvítá River in Iceland in the southwest part of the country, east of Reykjavík. It typically erupts every 6-10 minutes. Its usual height is 15-20 metres (49-66 ft), although it can sometimes erupt up to 40 metres (130 ft) high.
