I have a similar build with the new frozen orb aspect. My problem is that it really sucks on bosses because my mana regen is based on crowd control. Any suggestions?

I got myself 3GA focus and dagger, and I wanted to frozen orb temper.. ended having perfect roll on ice shards on both, decided to try endgame sauce

I'm currently Pit tier 54 with Ice Shards, I love the machine gun rapid-fire style of play but I feel like Ice Shards do need a buff - even with the tempering affix of "X% chance for Ice Shard projectiles to cast twice" it currently works as a chance for each individual shard to fire an additional time so with 40% on that you're getting like 2 extra shards on average (7), if they changed it so it's a chance for the actual spell to cast twice, so a guaranteed x10 shards I think that'd be a nice buff to the overall build. But compared to a lot of other builds in the game, Ice Shards is fun but really hard to take it deep into the Pit. I'll keep trying to optimise my build more though :(

There are few aspects and uniques that make this build much more satisfying to play that are not mentioned here. Namely, Godslayer Crown, Frostburn Gloves as Uniques and Shared misery legendary aspect!?

Pit T1 isn't really the best to showcase what a build is capable of unless your showing it off as like a 60-100 kind of build, but good video nice explanation and edits (maybe don't cover of the character lvl) good guide though keep up the work.

Thats exactly what it is actually! No stat optimizations, no uniques, just a normal char who would be around 60 (the no stats and no uniques makes up for a few extra paragon points) so it actually DOES make it a pretty level playing field for them all. I appreciate this comment btw, and totally get what youre sayin! many more to come in the super near future :D

This looks cool to me. Using it even if it’s not the best. She’s like a gunslinger version of a mage with incendiary ice bullets. Cool projectile combat mage. 🧙🏻 💥

it comes short in aoe department because u are using the wrong node for Ice Shards. If you use the one that makes it so that vulnerable enemies are treated like frozen ones, ice shards would clear the screen (9 ricochets with max roll enchant). But you had to use maxroll's build and "free" vulnerability application so there you go. You are almost struggling with NMD

this has zero stats, zero tempering of course its going to be bad. its meant to simulated exactly like a level 60-70 non optimized char.

Fair to say this, but it’s completely unoptimized in this video. It’s not that bad in reality, but there’s many builds that are better for sure.

@@Poolnoodlex Probably not top tier yes BUT, its extremely fun if you focus on getting your lucky hit high enough and mix it with ''shared misery'' aspect! In higher levels most mobs sit around frozen and you are going to lob ice shards all over the place. Having a godslayer crown in the mix makes it pull all the mobs together if you hit an elite or boss and since all the shards are piercing and every frozen mob is targeted seperately, you end up with MASSIVE volleys of ice shards tearing the mobs to shreds! I have notcied that, you really cant see much of that effect on lower levels as mobs tend to die too quickly! On a sidenote: You can stack ''lucky hit: chance to freeze on hit'' on many armor pieces in S4 so it makes it much more fun now, not to mention the fact that you will be staggering bosses extremely fast if most of your ice shards proc freeze!

Worst build. Takes way to much damage. Literally get one shot by many elites. There are a lot of Paragon’s that aren’t being utilized for damage reduction.

this is like a 10 second cooldown small frost nova. with a spammable frost nova that covers the whole screen it looks very cool imo

Man, its actually visually EXTREMELY pleasing once you get it going! For instance, an aspect that makes freeze spread on nearby mobs. If you have high enough lucky hit you are literally blasting ice shards all over the screen automatically and you see mobs shatter into small pieces left and right!

lol u have no clue for this game xD i play iceshard in every season now its an off meta build sadly but all of ur builds a copy from other players and this video show me u have no clue for this game bcuz u cant copy ice shard build for this season and u come up with this build .... u cant even make nightmre100 with it ... prove me if i wrong
