Nice Sarah! You should put together an ASMR video of just the ship going thru the water, by the glaciers etc, it would be amazing!

Awesome to see a glacier. My sister lived in Alaska for a few years. Raising her 3 kids there. She said Alaska was one of the most beautiful places on earth. And she did travel all over! She also mentioned Alaska was incredibly hard to survive in. Thank you for sharing your cruise adventure with us!😂❤ ( The biggest glacier of that type in the world? Wow!!!) I wondered where your gloves were? You need an extra clothing attire reminder!! Lol😂 I appreciate your filming efforts. I saw how big that cruise ship is....so that glacier thunder is amazing! We truly have an incredible world!

For someone that sees snow 6 months out of the year that is still very breath taking. I would have done the same thing by rushing to the front to get to see such beauty. Sorry that it has been so cloudy for your whole trip. You would have been as excited to see the northern lights. Safe travels on your way back to the lower 48😊

Awwwwwww, how cute when you're emotionally moved. But seriously, I"m really glad you enjoyed it and were moved. I enjoyed seeing your reactions, because everyone handles it differently. Love how you soaked it in and processed it in a pretty serene and subdued way. I'm also impressed that you dedicated yourself to seeing/feeling it, despite having to almost go numb in the cold. The good news is that when in pain or discomfort, part of the survival instinct is to remember things better. The frozen hands hopefully pay off by letting you remember it forever more clearly. There was a NOVA show with Alan Alda, where they tested him two times, showing him stuff and later quizzing him about it. One time, he was comfy. The other time he had his arm in a bucket of ice water for a half hour. He remembered things much better the time his arm was in ice water. That's why, during a total solar eclipse when the temperature suddenly drops 20 or 30 degrees in a couple of minutes, I'm the only person not putting on a jacket. Remembering it better means more to me than being cold while it's happening.

@@RonsWorld5 In September, like Sarah did. Maybe a little earlier even. In October, things are starting the end of season shut down even if the storms don't kill things. Also, on the Norwegian Sun, I only had one 110 plug in my cabin. Take a power strip and maybe a 220 adapter. Internet access was about $30 per day so take a book. Can't take soft drinks on board and they didn't come with the meals. Coffee, tea and water, yes but a Coke will cost you. You can't ask too many questions and about things I never would have thought of.

husband speaking - as cold as it was, can you even try to imagine what the folks on the Titanic faced ? Those that went into the water had no chance of survival, those on the boats had to be freezing - I bet not many had a chance to grab any warm clothing even if the packed any, and it was at night.
