Chilly a few nights but no snow. I only needed my fish for bait, might get in mid October next year and let it spoil a bit.

Great stuff!! I can't wait till you get up north. One thing very noticable to me in your videos is how flat the land is there. I'm a BC guy and am used to the mountains, valleys, and the ocean!

Great video norm! Love the ice fishing. Cut a disk one inch biger than your auger with a hole in the center to slid over your ager shaft below your wing nut thst will save you from having to fish for your auger .

Someday ill be able to afford to go trap my own mink ,martin, or lynx and get it tanned to put on the wall. Been my life long wish to have a tanned lynx. Not sure if legal to buy them and have shipped to maine from canada so guess ill have to get my own lol. But watching your videos brings this 52 yr old man more joy than youll ever realize. You do alot more than just give someone 30 minutes of entertainment. You let me feel like im useful and alive and part of it so thsnk you from bottom of my heart. But be safe. You hurt means i get no videos lol

You could fish for 3 days and never get 3 bites like that were i live. Our fishing has been so bad. Between GFP screwing up the laws and the stocking of fish and the drought we have been in for the last 5 years. Sucks but nothing ya can do about it but pray for flooding . Good to see ya got out and caught some fish!

I was wondering if you had been working on the Polaris, It sounds great. I always used hot plugs in cold weather and cold plugs when it got warmer in my Polaris long track. Thanks for another adventure Norm, can't wait till we see you back at the cabin and on the trapline. Knee surgery has slowed me up again this winter and seeing you out there is motivating me to get up and get going. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.

I didn’t work on the Polaris yet. It will get its tune up this summer. Just a bit of tweaking it needs. See you soon and rest that knee.

Try NGK brand plugs. They've always out preformed Champs in my Air cooled machines , I use them in my Skido 800R as well. Be careful out there 🍀

If you throw your electric drill into reverse you can force all the slush back down the hole for when you forget a scooper and shovel.

I’m scared the drill will open up and I will lose the auger.

We had six inches Friday before Xmas. Then rain over Xmas. Went back out on Tuesday and only 3 left. Cold snap now . Should have at least a foot now.
