Ice Cube is the GREATEST contributor to the hip hop culture. From the legendary music catalog, to movies, comedians actors he put on, to characters hes created that are forever inbedded in the culture.
I disagree. The downward spiral was when Death Row came into existence. The reach of all the artist record sales and record company pushed Death Row and hip hop to a global scale that music had never went before.
