People talking shit about Eazy but HE WAS THE MAN back in the day. He'd be just as rich as Dre if he hadn't passed at such a young age. The man had everything going on - record label, writing a movie, etc. no telling where he would have ended up or what more he could have accomplished. He was a real one!

IDK. Dre had to get in with the industry, and needed to speak the language of the likes of Jimmy Iovine. Eazy, as much as he was a businessman, forward-thinking, and go-getting he just didn't have that ability to leave being a G behind. He wasn't the type to gangster then sit in a boardroom and play the game. It wasn't him

People always talk Pac and Biggie, but for me Eazy and Dre will always be the most iconic hip hop feud and produced some really fire music (including B.G. Knocc Out & Dresta's record Real Brothaz). I'll give a shout out to MC Eiht and DJ Quik's old feud too for being probably the funniest.

You so right man, heavily agreed, there's cats that look at Pac and Biggie as the dominance in 90s Hip-Hop but just like you, I see Dre and Eazy as those iconic greats of the era and in general, two of Compton's most wanted, got the best impact, influence and cultural stands, underrated artists.

Jonathan Lewis Death Row bailed out 2pac and offered him a contract whilst Pac was in prison, so it wouldn't be impossible to have got 2pac out of prison. Though I guess if Ruthless didn't have a huge amount of money at the time like some people suggest, it would've been risky to bail out Pac.

Jonathan Lewis That's the wrong choice of words. "No choice" would've been if Eazy couldn't have signed 2pac even if he tried. The reasons you explained were Eazy's reasoning for preferring Bone Thugz over 2pac. Eazy had a choice, and he chose Bone Thugz.

People watch Straight Outta Compton then come on here like they are the biggest NWA fans trying to argue with people who actually lived in that era and know more than they will ever know lmao. That bs kills me. Then one idiot had the nerve to say "I seen the movie I know what I'm talking about". That biopic left out so much information it was a disappointment in a way and a few things about the movie were altered so I'd recommend not saying some bs just off of seeing the movie.

Lol exactly, I'm over here laughing at some of these comments...it's like it's obvious they just found out about NWA judging by their posts. Them saying "I've seen the movie" is silly, it's Hollywood they're going to make it seem so dramatic and shit which I hate. I've seen it and I agree it's ok but not great like a lot of these young people think. It sucks bc people are going to base their opinion on NWA by this movie alone.

what does it matter if they saw it in a movie already heard it before the movie came out when I was growing up and middle school I watched the documentaries I heard the music I hurt each individual's on single album by itself so I was always a fan before the film was even coming out and I have heard about the film was in production for years now but pointed out making it doesn't matter if someone's a fan now or a fan in 1987 when NWA was coming out I'm just starting to really kick off as long as the film was good and it opens in WA to a whole new generation exposes them to a home new generation or era of hip-hop that they've never experienced before I think that's the whole point of NWA from the film even to their original album and the group core members you know exposing the truth about what was going on during that time being a black male in America you don't dealing with police brutality racism discrimination of the AIDS epidemic drugs crime you know very few chances for the let community so if you're on the internet you're complaining about I'll I listen to it in WA before these younger cat started listening to it because they saw them you're totally missing the point point was to expose generation that had been somewhat cut off from what was going on in the world today and back then to something potent and deadly in serious but that's my opinion and I know somebody's going to say something silly after I post this

Ain't nothing wrong with the film introducing an entirely new generation of people to the hip hop that was coming out of the west coast during the late 80's/early 90's. I'm old enough to remember the rise of west coast gangsta rap and the west coast vs. east coast feud but a lot of young kids werent around for all that so they have to get introduced to it somehow and what better way than through the film. Hopefully the film only serves to peek their interest to go out and learn more about it. To learn the real story and to discover all the music that was being created during the time.

The Box was so much better than MTV back in the day.You could call a number and punch in which video you wanted to see.The Box played every genre of music and they didn't censor as much as MTV did.As a kid in the 90's i watched it every day after school and especially at night when the signal came in much clearer.
