I think because Downerd can go over anything if they veiler gigantic you can swing make Downerd make Zeus etc

I actually don’t think you need it. G1 you can sweep them and because they normally don’t have many breakers and searching smashers is enough or you grab another starter so if they do make a mediocre board you can blast through it with jet

Thought about using shifter in the side?

You can but I’m just not a big shifter fan especially above 40 if I was at 40 and playing a melffy package 100% I’m vibing shifter

@@clemfire1772 no I try and not cut engine because of how much non engine I play I think it’s usually fine to keep them in it just makes swap a 1 card starter If I cut engine it’s normally just the 1 red and carrot

How’s the tempi matchup ? Seems to be the only deck I have issues with

It’s really manageable if they spoly or droplet you it is what it is but your engine beats there engine. if you end on standard of like toad red/carrot masq sprind it’s more than enough if they don’t draw the spoly/droplet then you usually just win if I have choice i try to go second and side the breakers in swapping out veiler and imperms for lstorm change mc so I can force their seals and sets then just gamma burst lethal them

It’s fine spright never truly feels bad imo yubels a favorable match-up and the wave king is easy to beat through with spright cards so the fiend smith engines mediocre against it.

What’s your typical end board ?

They’re fine I ran droplet at my last event but both cards are mediocre vs the best deck which is what I primarily expected to see

The big melffy engine is really fun tho I ran it on db a few times and they would always scoop to fill spright melffy board with because Wally is crazy

I actually wanted to run pure ice barrier but was worried about getting the cards in time.
