Scientist Jack Hall warns of a new ice age, but his words fall on deaf ears. Soon, superstorms engulf the Earth, and the United States is forced to begin mass evacuations to Mexico. Jack travels to New York to rescue his son Sam and his friends, who are stuck in a half-flooded library. The video illustrates their struggle to survive in the face of rapidly cooling temperatures and horrific natural disasters.
