Just found out about this tool, awesome!!! Its like a big F-U to the money-grubbing Volvo stealerships (dealerships :) Im buying one today! Tired of the arrogant money grubbers.

Got a Cr pro+ which has all the features of vol3 multi vehicle and was able to try it on a 2007 Saab 9-3 (9440). It IS NOT able to do bidirectional test. Non of the diagnostic tools like Steering angle, brake bleed, yaw/lateral, evap solenoids, etc functions. Also No Battery management, fan controls, door locks so practically any BCM, ECM, TCS/ESP/ABS, TCM commands are NOT available. This does however read live data for all the modules and allows you to see values in temp, on/off, position, percentage, voltage, and counts. The tool is great for other manufacturers like Japanese, and American cars. Unfortunately if you have a Saab, a tech 2 clone would be your best bet.

Great video, thanks. We just got a low mileage, one owner V70 T6 2010 model but the Icarsoft only works on the diagnostics. All the other items like BMS, airbags etc pop up a message stating not supported.... maybe an update may help but otherwise its going back...

does it code injectors on p3? aka v70 d5 2008+

I have icarsoft v2.0. It doesn’t facilitate installing a new battery [required every 4 years], or coding new fuel injectors. Will this version do these?

Hi I am wondering will it give you oil level percentage and temp. I have a 2010 XC90 and currently use vida to check the oil level is correct percent IE: 70% (cannot trust dipstick)

@scan tool network, what tool can i get that will work for a 19 xc60 t6, as well dodge products, that is bi-directional, . works for.. example.. reset battery and brakes when relacing on the volvo, or reading and clearing codes on both models. etc. .. attempted to contact Icarsoft by phone an email.. so far a joke an not response here in usa

Dose this work on us vehicles or only Volvos etc I have a Lamborghini , BMWs , wv diesel , gmc diesels , dodge Cummins, ram eco diesel , ram pro master gas, Subaru , fords , jeeps and a few Toyotas .. and probably a few more .. will this scan tool work ?

hi please kindly note that the item VOL V3.0 is only for Volvo/Saab. for your these multi-brand vehicles, we would like to recommend you the item CR MAX.

Ive got the same exact tool to register my new battery, however the BMS is the only one missing? why is this?

does it test emissions or IME ?

yes it can do I/M Readiness -- I/M Readiness indicate whether or not the various emissions-related systems on the vehicle are operating properly and are ready for Inspection and Maintenance testing.

I’ll never buy from you because you don’t answer comments. Can’t trust customer service and will thumbs down all you videos.
