recently picked up a code reader from ICarSoft that connects to the obd2
The model I picket up is loaded with software for Volvo and Saab. Though it's possible to get the reader for other brands as well
Since I have some issues with my XC70 I thought it was aa good idea to try it.
This video contains unpacking as well as a first try.
And I got some good information from it.
Telling me which parking sensor that is bad as well as that there is something going on in my Haldex.

Hi, is it possible to reset the parking heater in my volvo? I think my heater is locked. It's directly turns of after activation.

Great review. I have a Volvo 2003 XC70 with a SRS "00D4 code - Faulty Lamp Signal." Can this erase that code. Thanks and keep em coming!

These scanners are very limited to what they can do. They do not cover every car and you really need to check before you buy. Despite models mentioned some of the basics are not covered..

NO! Thtas just needed in future when uppdates come.
can the throttle body be reset with this tool?

The pc cable has to be connected all times or just to charge the battery ?

works without registering so you can send it back when you are done 😉
I'm looking for a scanner that can reset the trans fluid counter. I also have a Volvo, in the USA.

@@gregcrabb3497 If can´t find any obdscanner compatible for your Volvo. Vida/dice is the best thing to work with on a volvo but you need use a pc.

Köpte en sådan för att bruka till saab 9-5 men den kunde endast läsa ut och radera check engine koder vilket även en biltemaläsare kan. Krävs Tech 2 till saab fick jag lära mig.

Spontant kändes den bra, kunde kalibrera styrsnäcka och lite sånt. Dock vart inte tiden med Volvo långvarig så kodläsaren skickades tillbaka..
