I'm literally honestly impressed how little this guy knows about cars and scanners and still is big in this category. About the CR Max: The Android version is way to old to install any apps, so don't expect to use it as a tablet. It's even hard to set it up to send mail.

hi does the cr max works on 1999 volvo s70

How about driving a test on a newer Volvo.. 2017-2023 xc90 V90 etc.. So we can really see what this instrument can do..

Is there any way to print reports on this tool directly from the scanner menus? The email program doesnt work only way I could think of is through gmail but its alot of steps

The first step is to accept that iCarsoft has fooled us all by advertise this as a Android tablet. The Android version is way to old for most modern apps, and iCarsoft accidentally "forgot to" ship this with any kind of appstore. The only way is to download older apk-files, but that's a bit risky so choose some reliable sources.

@@BoringJohnson I haven't looked at it again there might be a way but there is a more expensive scanner I almost bought running android 4. I didn't buy it to use as a tablet I just use the diagnostic function which has been flawless so far.

He chose "Control Unit" on the previous screen which just immediately gives you a list of all potential modules that the vehicle may have without actually performing any checks on them to see if the vehicle even has them installed. From that point you have to manually press every module individually to check if it is equipped and if there are any codes. So "Unknown" basically just means that it has not checked the module. If you press "Auto Scan" instead on that previous screen, it will automatically perform a check and go through every potential module to see if the vehicle has them and also if any of the modules throw any sort of codes. Hope this made it clear for you! 😄

Ik krijg mijn twijfels of ik wel of niet een icarsoft aankoop. Hoe meer video's ik hier bekijk hoe meer negatieve reacties er komen. Ik denk om een andere scanner te kopen. Ik merk ook steeds in de video's dat er weinig of geen oplossing komt wanneer er een foutcode verschijnt. De fout vinden door in de menu op een knop te klikken kan iedereen. De code wissen ook. Maar iets herstellen blijkt hier moeilijk te zijn.
