It's great to know that the crew are respecting Jenette's reasons for not returning, but the last place we canonically saw Sam was in Hollywood in Sam and Cat so I wouldn't be surprised that she either stayed there or went off to travel the country given how without Carly she essentially lost a reason to stay in Seattle.

Jerry is so comedic and at the same time so well spoken. How this man was never given a true fair shot in the acting world is beyond me. I'm glad he's got some work in this reboot, but I feel like he has what it takes to be an A-list actor.

They should also address absentee parents (Freddie's dad or Carly and Spencer's mum).

The fact that Carly and Spenser do not talk about it at all, ever, implies pretty clearly something bad, either she ran out on them or she died seems most likely. Indeed sadly ran out on them seems more likely. If it was dead one assumes they would bring it up at least a few times, our dear beloved dead mother and such, the fact they have put her out of the things they talk about so completely implies bad feelings to me, her abandoning them seems the likeliest scenario.

Right. I actually do like Raven's Home. Its cute and does bring back nostalgia BUT I personally feel like they should have made a more adult spin off show about Raven and Chelsea. I mean, they could have kids in it too or not, either would work, but with the same concept they explained. Most kids today don't even know about Thats so Raven, so to me its not nearly as "special". Also, I hate how only like a few characters returned. I want to see Cory with a possible family, Stanley all grown up, Sydney, Alana, etc. Only like Raven, Devon, and Victor made an appearance.

I just finished season 1 and I was like 10 when the show went off. So I watched it when the last couple seasons were airing so to have it come back in a more mature format but still keep the goofiness that made the original so great is awesome.

If you guys are wondering about Jennette McCurdy, she is retired from acting due to a lot of trauma she went through and also suffered from an eating disorder while doing the original show Plus she never wanted to act in the first place, her mom forced her to do it for supporting her family but now that her mom passed away, she’s free to move on from acting to directing

As a kid I was a hardcore creddie shipper, hell I think that was where my obsession with shipping characters/fictional couples started lol When they said they were gonna come back and do the show again I wasn't expecting them to do any sort of romance between Carly and Freddie but it definitely looks that's where they're headed (if they weren't they'd be fast to say it, just like they have been forward about Jeannette not returning) and I couldn't be more excited, especially because Miranda is an executive producer and seems like she's really putting a lot of thought and heart into the show. The show overall feels like they want to make a silly and fun show but with the right stories and in the right way. I feel like if they're pushing for Creddie to happen, they will make it right this time around. At least I hope they do lol we'll see but romance or not I'm still excited for the show.
