As Hatice shares the dissapointment Ibrahim has created with Suleiman, Hurrem starts enjoying taking over the power in harem. Hurrem decides to move to the Sultana's suite without minding the reactions she'll get. Meanwhile, Hatice makes new plans to preven Hurrem's rising.
As Ibrahim sets off for a journey to the east, his secret enemy Ibrahim Celebi will continue being his trouble during their journey. Meanwhile, Sultan Suleiman choses Rustem Aga as his accompany during İbrahim's absence. Rüstem Aga gets in close relationships in harem without losing time.
The Beglerbeg of Algeria Captain Hızır Reis comes to Istanbul on Sultan Suleiman's call. The arrival of him, as known as Barbarossa, creates a great joy both in the city and the palace. He brings odalisques with him that one of them stands for turning everything upside-down.
Sultana Hatice makes a harsh decision about Nigar Kalfa with the agony of betreyal. Meanwhile, Ibrahim has another plan for Nigar.
Ibrahim gets ambushed on his harsh journey to east. Prince Mustafa arrives to Sanjak of Manisa. He doesn't hesitate showing all his power as an emperor beginning from his arrival.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Mahidevran did less for Hatice than Hurrem, but Hurrem still became Hatice's scapegoat... Only because it was easier to blame Ibrahim's cheating on the person that discovered his cheating than on him. Hatice immediately forgot that Hurrem saved her baby's life. She forgot that Mahidevran wanted Suleiman to die so she could kill her niece and nephews to put Mustafa on the throne...

It is logical, Ibrahim is the mentor of Mustafa and Mustafa is her son and successor of the throne, my friend. And yes, who wasn't fear Hurrem, as she was Devil itself? She wanted to get rid of Mustafa, so she also wanted to get rid of Ibrahim. So why Mahidevran should care about Hatice? Hatice wasn't the successor of the throne, Mustafa was and Ibrahim was his trainer. So why she should care about her? Did anyone cared about Mahidevran all these years? No. So why she couldn't be at least one time of her life indiferent to someone? After all, this happened to her already. Didn't she want to do this?

She makes it obvious that her goal is her son on the throne and practically gets excited at the thought of Suleiman passing away. She of course defends Ibrahim since he was taking care of her and Mustafa and helping his rise to the throne, along with messing with Hurrem. Hatice wasn't the one spending so much time with and molding Mustafa. Mahidevran thinks of herself first.

Just because she loves him and wants to protect Ibrahim from Suleyman's wrath, she turned her eyes blind for all her pain caused by him. I know he catches some serious flack for it, but, honestly, I don't blame Suleiman encouraging Hatice to take the time while Ibrahim is away to think things through. It's a way to make sure that, whatever choice she makes, is made not in the heat of the moment, which, for a character as emotionally driven as herself, happens often with her. Still, even though the show couldn't bend history enough for Ibrahim to be divorced, I wish this arc had gone in a direction that wasn't "Hatice + Ibrahim = 4ever OTP uwu!"

But she should have expected the emotional distance when she went from listening to him play his violin and passing love notes to constantly reminding him that he is a servant of her family and she is his Sultana. She liked to throw around her place in the dynasty whenever she got in a mood. so if you are displeased with your wife (who actually gave you everything and risk the anger of her mighty relatives and her reputation to get married to you) - you should cunningly cheat on her, sacrificing the life of another innocent woman (Nigar)? Because you are too afraid to openly confront somebody stronger than you (your noble spouse)? After all, Hatice was right. He was a slave. Her brother didn't free him, but he never confronted her brother openly, pretending his alright with his position. Actually because Ibrahim didn't know his place a he lost his head. Hurrem was right about him when she warned her husband that Ibrahim wasn't his faithful servant and sworn brother, but a cunning snake in the grass. If not for Hurrem in the series the things would have turned way more sad for the Sultan and his family. Ibrahim was a dangerous wolf in a sheeps skin.

Is it possible Hatice’s forgiveness to him was based on consequences she wanted them both to have? Think about it. What if her plan was to keep Nigar Khalfa’s daughter & stay married to Ibrahim to punish them both. The ultimate revenge of not letting those 2 lovers be with each other while having the child raised as if her own to remind Ibrahim of his sin of cheating on her & making Nigar believe the child dead to remind her of her sin of cheating with him. Also what if if her revenge towards Hurrem & Suleyman was with regards them not letting Ibrahim live therefore she no longer was in charge of his consequences & long suffering but rather because they allowed him a quick way to end his suffering & be with Nigar Khalfa in death & not her in life.
