Every human deserves to be treated as a human not a thing, especially such an intelligent and beautiful girl as Nigar. No one deserved her services and her loyalty and she made it clear. She protected Ibrahim yes, cause she fell in love with him, she’s a human being after all not a robot, and in the same time she was trying to protect Hurrem. In my opinion Hatice is the most cold-hearted evil character in the entire show. The way she emptionally and psychologically tortured Nigar with the death of her child, and showing no mercy to a woman mourning the death of her child. Hatice of all people should understand that grief yet she allows her narcissism to get in the way of an innocent baby. Pure evil imo. At least Ibrahim was concerned about his child. Say what you will but he wasn't heartless.

@joefenech4780 I don't think I made Ibrahim a victim, I just stated that he at least showed compassion for his children, which you can't say for Hatice. She was willing to k**l herself multiple times and leave her children orphans, until she eventually did just that in the end. Ibrahim was cruel but not evil imo

In real life, Suleyman had 3 children before Mustafa was born in 1515. They were from a previous concubine and died of illness or a plague outbreak. I guess Gulfem was written into the show to explain their deaths. Her character is extraneous, in my opinion, because she doesn't really serve a purpose in the show except as a hype woman for Hatice
