Great video. Does iBassist allow the following: if I have a bass line in a midi file. Is it possible to use the bass samples from iBassist but use the bass line in the midi file without having to create the bass line in iBassist? Thanks

interesting I can play the sounds as a module from a keyboard in AUM but not Loopy

Does anyone know how to play notes outside of the major scale (or its modes)? I don’t know any bass player who doesn’t use chromatic approach notes in their lines…any jazz or funk tune requires it. I’m probably missing something simple (wouldn’t be the first time) but because there’s no manual or support for any of Luis’s apps I gave up and never use it!

Will this adapt to midi note played or loaded ?

Why? It’s consistent with the devs other apps and quite cheap for what it does.

@@HotStrange Ah yes I realise it is consistent, although I didn’t at the time. It’s just an opinion. - prices are creeping up and this definitely isn’t the only and certainly not the best example of such. I personally wouldn’t buy it at the price. It’s that simple

Asking honestly what could that possibly do that you can’t do already? You can already run all of those Lumbeat drum apps in sync to your DAW clock in IAA so they’ll be playing in time with iBassist.

@@MarsCapone Have I? Consider that iBassist isn't the same as it was before it was an AUV3. I don't know that it still functions quite the same way, which is why I asked.

I also get occasional crashes, and also have some distortion/popping at the beginning and/or end of some notes, but not all sounds. I didn't notice it on this video.
