Hello Mr. Dixon, I'm a student taking the May 2021 exam and I have a question about the 'additional terms' (for example, neural pruning) that you mentioned in your earlier videos as well as your blog post. I'm unsure if questions about "how neural pruning takes place" would come out since it isn't on the ib textbook or the websites that I use. Could you please clarify if all the italicized terms could come out on the exam? Thank you so much!

Yes, they may be on the exams. Textbooks and sites might not cover them as they were added the course about 18 months after the first version of the guide was published (and so all the books were already published). Animal studies = only ethics. Tech and globalization = only methods.
