Hey. I also started my IB journey this year and I also have HL biology. Unfortunatelly, my IB class is the first IB class on my school ever. Teachers are not very experienced. Don’t you wanna talk about that? I would appreiate it. Also… thanks for this video. Those informations are very helpful.

I had a great teacher initially which saved my life.

omg I'm about to start DP 2 and I do most of what u did! Thats so reassuring. Also ur smile is really pretty (also, feedback is maybe improve the audio quality, it was a bit hard to hear in this video. Other than that u act very naturally on camera and u r very engaging :) )

For some reason the flashcards from the biology for life website do not work! I wonder if it is an error on my part or if they are down! What about you guys?

my problem is that I'm so used to writing noted ( which is not really working ) that when I try to make flashcards I just don't know how to make them or what to write in them.

What’s the name of the resource that you mentioned your friend used cogni… something. I started ib last week I’m aiming for a +42/45. Also do you know somewhere I can get past paper questions for a specific topic? Thanks for the video it made me feel a lot more prepared starting ib. :)

Hi Lara! The resource my friend used is called Kognity. It is an online textbook that I think requires subscriptions from your IB school. The link to the online textbook is here: kognity.com/ Yess you can get topic based past papers from the following two websites: examsnap.io/ www.ibdocuments.com/ IB documents is ALWAYS down during April and May because its IB examination period! (not sure about November tho...) so be sure to download the papers/screenshot the questions beforehand so you can access them anytime you want. Hope this is helpful to you!!
