when you said "irrespective whether or not the fact was known @ RD". Thanks :)
Thanks for the explainer. Really made my understanding of what was documented in my eText much clearer. Also as an Australian watching a South African video I am grateful for international accounting standards being used across the world. Cheers

I am glad it helped! For interest sake, what qualification are you studying?
Thanks! It is super clear! I like the disclose about a) nature b) financial effect!
Thank you sir..this helped me a lot!!😁
This is so easy to understand. Thank you. 🙏🏽
What about sales of inventories after reporting date and before authorisationdate? Is it an adjusting or non-adjusting event?
Thanks Sir for your clear presentation. However, i have a little doubt which I present as follows. How do we treat sales returns and purchase returns actually made in between the reporting date and authorization date which were sold and purchased before reporting date?
Is it also called favorable and unfavorable events
Great video ! Having read the standard it seems to be more concerned with assets and write downs. If you have a legal liability at the reporting date that are subsequently found not to be payable is that also an adjusting event ? I am referring to s special offer that entitles customers to free goods or services which is valid for 12 months from date of purchase. At the end of the reporting period these are still due but by the time the accounts are prepared they have expired.
if the company decided to make approximately 10 staff redundant, it is required to mention in the financial statement under IAS 10? if yes, is under adjusting event or non-adjusting event and why
Thank you. It gave me clear understanding of what is and what is not an adjusting event..

Hi Rashad Jamalov. We are so glad we could help and that our videos are useful. We have put up a full course for free on IAS 10 on www.udemy.com/ias-10-events-after-reporting-date/
Hi, thank you for the informative videos. I would like to know if I received services from a provider but did not receive an invoice. As an estimate, I booked an accrued amount. Immediately after the year end, I received the invoice from the provider. Should I reverse the accrued amount and book a payable or not do anything?

Without Prejudice . All the videos related to IAS are magnificent & explicitly narrated . If possible can we have the videos on IAS 19 as no one is as better narrative then your videos in KZread forum. I have gone through Tabaldiaccounting but I, couldn't find any of it. Regards & Thanks ?!
