Saw him play this at the Robin2 a few weeks ago. Its great to see he's putting it back into his set again. One of the finest guitarists I've seen oh and by the way i've seen a lot!

I’m from London. Lived in the jewellery quater in brum for a year or so back in 09/10my friend Linton was the sound engineer for the jam house...the first time I saw Ian play I was mesmerised ,I’d never seen a man play a guitar like him. Out of all the groups and bands that went through the jam house I used to say to my mate Linton ‘if he’s ever playing let me know and I’ll run over quick!’ And he used to always tell me ,ended up watching Ian about 8 times live ,such a talent 🙏🏼

Oh yes I remember Linton at the Jam House, well thanks for watching this old video from a few years back, I have uploaded a load of footage since then on this channel as I have for the last five or more years ran this band for Ian. Cheers Tommy for your interest.

Hello Andrew.First I must say sorry for taking this long to reply to your comment, and Happy New Year to you and your dad.I certainly do remember talking to you at the Robin, and I do appreciate people coming up to me and saying they enjoy my videos because people don't seam to make comments on my music channel.Its a totally different story with my Train channel as I get lots of comments which I always answer.Regarding you request for Monty Turnbull footage I haven't got any, but I have been filming Ian since 2001 so I have lots of footage which has never been seen, but the quality wouldn't be a very good standard like we get with today equipment.I would love to upload some old footage Andrew but I never seam to have enough time as my railway interest keeps me so busy.Regards Mike.
