Many of us share the same stories of typically very liberal women - often middle aged but many times younger - who displayed very clearly a deep resentment towards young boys likely stemming from poor relations with men in their own lives. I don’t know why you would trivialise or diminish that. None of us asked to be sat day after day with women who weren’t our mothers, and who hated us for whatever went wrong in their lives.
