MVP said it before the fight "I'm going to make him a grappler." The speed and MVP's ability to get in and get out still surprised Garry even though Gary's game plan from the start was to grapple - spent most of his camp with grapplers. Now shame on MVP for not prepping for what he knew in the first place what would happen? That's the real story.

All things about his personal life aside- I do fail to see skills that would put him in the upper echelons of the division.

Gary wants to be a fan favorite. He gives off the vibe that he is "entitled" to it. Yet, his actions do not align with a fan favorite fighter. In my dumbass opinion, there's two ways to sell that. Either you are honest and humble, "I was afraid I'd get a loss and i did what i had to do. Judge me if you must, but you weren't the one in the cage" or "It was rigged from the start and the fix was in. And I've talked to reliable sources in the mma media who in no uncertain terms told me that point blank. I was supposed to look bad. They set me up. Luckily with the support of my beautiful wife, we conquered the odds and 'still' came out on top"

It was a tough matchup for him striking wise and he played it smart. I guess he's not the most exciting fighter? Still undefeated though, people will forget the fight eventually. Why am I defending him I dont like him at all.

....yes it can. If all scores are the same; One guy wins the 1st 10-9, the opponent wins 2nd 10-9, then the 3rd round is a draw, 10-10. It’s a “10 point must” system, but if the round is even, it can be scored 10-10 But, there being 3 judges doesn’t represent the score “mathematically”. Their scores are essentially turned into “win” “lose” or “draw”, then those are compared

Chael, you are just wrong about the wrestling. Garry did set up those takedown just not very well because he's not good at wrestling. Just go look at the 1st and 2nd takedowns, he clearly was waiting to shoot at the right time. Garry even said that he was planning on grappling in the post fight, granted he did say he would ourtstrike him before the fight.

Not at all. MVP is a masterful striker, that's like saying Adesanya is a regular striker because he got outclassed by Strickland. Losing in striking to a top-notch striker doesn't mean you aren't a good striker in your own right.

Fight stunk. Was a terrible thing to watch. MVP is 0-2 in UFC when it comes to entertaining fights. Guy was great in the minor leagues & entertaining in the media. But in the ufc he just runs & pop shots.

Everyone I watched with said it was a draw. Mediocre Jiu Jitsu with more control, vs good striking that failed to finish.

All i know is the fans are the ones that lost the fight. It absolutely sucked
