Yeah but I do think venom was wearing him down w the clinching which should be a point every time , every time venom got in close he ended w a clinch and perry was trying to punch his way out . If venom had more stamina I think he would’ve dominated but down the stretch he didn’t have any power .

Perry definitely should have been counted as a kockdown when he put both hands on floor. His legs stopped moving, wasnt a slip from this casuals look at the replay

It’s amazing to see MVP box at a pro-level with his hands down most the time. Also his footwork is stellar, able to pull in Perry’s momentum and land nasty counters.

I agree from a traditional boxing standpoint BUT I have to say Perry controlled the ring the entire time. I don’t know if that’s as aspect the judges use. Also thought during the initial rounds at least MVP got a lot of dirty shots to the back of the head and hands to the face. Perry may have pushed or head butted MVP as well. MVP was doing a fantastic Mayaeather impression but using a TKD stance 😂

Any and EVERYONE that watched this knows MVP won every round!! Was never a draw. Just give it to Perry so they can continue on with their production. Was a masterclass by MVP. DOMINATED THE ENTIRE FIGHT.

Sure, if your only counting face shots. In the clinch perry was going crazy and scoring a lot of body shots which is where i think prople are getting confused about how it was scored. If you land 10 body shots in 10 seconds and the rest of the round your opponent lands 9 face shots you still win the round.

They Gave 10-8 Perry in the 1st (Because of the knockdown), 10-9 MVP in the 2nd, 10-9 MVP in the 3rd, 10-9 Perry in the 4th and 10-9 MVP in the 5th. However I can't understand how they gave the 6th to Perry.

This was a robbery. 10-8 Perry first round 10-9 all the other rounds and let’s ignore that Page should have been awarded a knockdown in the 2nd. Someone show me what solid shots Perry landed in the 6th round outside the scramble at the end when both were exhausted . What a robbery - I guess they didn’t want page to come in off 1 fight destroy their man guy and leave, which would diminish the brand .

yeah well it all boiled down to the knockDown, that gave Perry a 10-8. So then let's say the judges had him win just 1 other round, that's 3 points each and he definitely won the overtime round due to cardio. The million dollar question is should Perry's hands touching the ring count as a knockdown, technically yes but it was so quick he got away with it.

this was one of the best fights I've ever seen on a screen. I would have been happier with a double victory, but I look forward to part 2.

He was backing up the whole fight though. Its easy to look good when ur on the defense not taking as much risk as Perry. If the league rewards fighters like that with a win, it can cause a domino effect making most of the fights boring. Like we Are seeing with wrestlers in the UFC

I thought the 6th round being ruled for perry was less surprising, but it shouldn't have gone to a draw. I'm kinda glad Perry won though because look how big he is in that sport now. MVP was slipppin everything landed that upercut almost every single time. But Perry is the face of BKB so they gave him the nod.

I've never seen a robbery happen live until I watched this fight...

the fact they give them an extra round if it's a draw is simply amazing exactly what ufc needs to implement💯

That was scored so badly. MVP lost the 6th round but was exhausted from already winning the fight. He DEFINITELY won rounds 2, 3, 4. Was gassed out in rounds 5, and 6

The judges drew 10-9 in their notebooks and refused to erase it even though MVP clearly won. IF you somehow think he didn’t, you really don’t understand how fighting works.

Props to Perry for that one. Jesus Christ he was getting laced and just kept coming and getting thru with his stuff. That tie break round they should also make it whoever goes down first loses. 👍🏻

How is he skinny, that MF is muscle pure, he is not a beefcake, he is focused power. Just his long limbs are probably more powerful due to the leverage they give, thats why his taekwondo long range style suits him so perfect, to get his full leverage out.

i thought MVP was definitely gonna get announced the winner, but I'm glad it was a draw. that's a badass way for a fight organization to handle a split decision, one extra round

Mike outlanded MVP a lot in the second round, every time page clinched Mike was throwing like 5-6 body hooks all landing. Those count. Round 1, 10-8 perry, round 2 10-9 perry, 3-5 MVP. 47-47 and Mike came with the heavy pressure and more volume round 6

Perry can take a punch like no other,that is for sure!

I’ve fought several bare knuckle Lethwei fights while training as a Farang in Koh Samui Thailand. What most don’t understand is that a normal boxer, fighter, etc is accustomed to fighting and training with gloves on. It’s the complete opposite with Bare Knuckle Sports you cannot just jump into it and expect not to destroy or get your body destroyed by someone who has already conditioned their body and limbs to extreme hits. You have to develop your bone density in your hands, knuckles, and especially wrists. It’s also completely different and extremely difficult getting hit and keeping an extremely tight guard. You have to stay tense the whole entire time especially when striking or you will destroy you’re hands on you’re opponents head. I admittedly could not hang with that extreme style of fighting but I am so glad I got to experience the opportunity to fight more than 1 legitimate Lethwei Match in my Life.

Body punches - Perry Head punches - MVP More damage and cleaner shots goes to MVP, IMOHO he should be the winner.

Someone show me what solid shots Perry landed in the 6th round outside the scramble at the end when both were exhausted . What a robbery - I guess they didn’t want page to come in off 1 fight destroy their man guy and leave, which would diminish the brand . Complete robbery and shameful decision

I just watched this fight twice and as much as I love Mike Perry huge fan of his he did not win this fight and it wasn't a draw I think they knew that MVP wasn't going to come back and fight bare knuckle anytime soon.
