My question is Israel can produce a lot of advance weapons but Israel government didn't buy them instead buying a lot of US systems that doesn't meets the needs of Idf requirements only because of US foreign aid to Israel.

There was no intelligence to indicate the attack coming or the need for an activating system against drone. The attack took all of the idf and Israel by Suprise. What was will not be anymore. and don't forget before this happened the Hamas was doing daily protests the last 3 weeks, hundreds of people were sabotaging the border and they were in civilian clothes and we as a humanitarian's army didn't shoot civilian, our good intention is our fault, they put us in sleeping mode
