I wouldn't be embarrassed to drive that Buick. Just needs a detail

That Buick looks amazing. Probably needs a fuel pump and fresh gas.

Ik randy said you can't work on cars and risk his business if he gets thrown out but I'd keep a little starter fluid or gas inside a perfume or cologne bottle. Might give you a little more confirmation if it's a fuel issue

I've got that exact same Buick and its rocks I love it

My grandfather had a century just like that
The knob on the steering wheel was called a "Suicide Knob' I believe. Our 49 Plymouth had one due to how big and hard the wheel was to turn at a stop.
That Ranger is awesome!!!! A new paint job would do wonders for it even with the hail damage. Those are tough little trucks. That Buick was absolutely beautiful, too.

agreed, even if it's just a sanding and clear coat to stop the rust
Shoutout to all the people who take care of their cars for decades and keep them looking new.
These '92 buick century 's are solid built old tanks . i had one. Mine was a century custom like this one. Mine had the 3.3 v6 also. That tail light has 17 bulbs in it. Make sure the front subframe is not rusted out. The 3.3 v6 has lots of power . i enjoyed the torque my century had from a start... lots of pep in its step !!!!!!!!!!!
Just by the Buick's condition, you can tell somebody was taking EXCELLENT care of it. (or they were an elderly person)

Garage kept too!
Just by the condition of the Buick you can tell somebody loved that car

I’d still beat on it
That old Buick is in such good shape! I’d definitely drive it! Looks like the Benz needs a lot of work! Neon great beater. Good little truck for Mike
Jump on that Buick before someone else does!!! Definitely worth saving it...damn I wish older cars like that were more available up here in Canada.
Randy, you should do follow up videos letting us know what things sold for. Would be fairly simple content to make why you are recovering.
That is a nice Buick Century. Many years ago, I. had a 1989 Buick Century that was midnight blue, I loved that car...:)
That little ranger would make a great work/farm truck. Something to haul trash, quick depot runs etc.
Definitely a throwback I had a 94 burgundy century and that car was fantastic! Would be nice to have another as a daily....Get the Buick Randy....Hey MWM 🙂
Had an 85 and later an 86 Century, which were pretty much identical to that 92 except both had the Iron Duke, so they were a bit lethargic, but THE most comfortable road cruisers... were very reliable and got great gas mileage. Didn't care at all that they were "grandpa" cars because they were so comfy and smooth. I'd love to be able to own another one but I won't... because the 85 burned and the 86 got t-boned. I think they're cursed for me.
Hello Randy. The 1990 Buick Century is an awesome car. I think you should bid on it for a give away car.
You had me “this” close to rapping… lol
I'm surprised you didn't point out the overspray on the windows on the Neon. Strange car, power windows in the front, manual in the back.
@brian5o
Жыл бұрын
Yea, that is strange but was a Neon thing. There was some reason that they did that, I can't remember why right now but all of them were like that, even the SRT-4s.
Great one guys😎👌 That Buick is a score, loved by someone and the ford pickup is a nice daily truck👏
Ranger - Excellent Work Truck!
I'd be buying that Buick. Basic, but reliable.
I’m in love with that Ranger! What an awesome little truck!
that buick needs some love, it breaks my heart to see it just sitting in a place like that. If you happen you buy it, we would love to see it running again, like the Tempo.
I love the 3300 in that Buick, great motor with loads of torque!!
I feel sorry for Mike. I'd hate to live in an area where your neighbors judge you by what you drive. Materialistic fools!
Poverty Caps is a well known term people used for Dog Dish Hubcaps, again Dog Dish is another term. Full hubcaps were top options, some design of hubcaps were the same price as mag type wheels either steel or aluminum..Again depending on trim and style of hubcap.. Buick is in really good shape!
My dad had a buick like that for a little while when i was little and i love the feeling it gave me when i was in it
I absolutely love that old Buick! ❤️❤️❤️
I had the 1986 Century Coupe. Rarest car I've ever owned. I've never seen another one. That quad 4 ran like a top! There's a reason those lil postal trucks ran with it!
If I drove a car like that back in the day I would be the coolest
Hello Randy and Mike both of you guys crack me up
The knob on the steering wheel is called a third hand ✋
I daily a ‘92 century with 80k. Picked it up with 78k last month. Can’t kill that 3300. You do ask how cheap you can get those tail lights, lol. They aren’t cheap. Several hundred $$ on ebay.
Hi Randy, the Ford Ranger is good for Monkey wrench Mike, The 4.0 motor is a good motor. Keep up the good work from Dave in Australia.
Damn that Buick is sweet 🤘🏽
Big al from big als bike and auto would love that century
That Ranger is a good work truck!
Good finds Randy on Hump Day on walkaroud that little early 90s Buick Century is good car to work on easy & a 1st time driver car 20:47 90 Ranger Ext Cab runs well I'd drive that daily plus ball hitch too with upgrade radio.
I have owned a few Buicks and they are amazing cars. My current one is a white with black trim and the rally looking wheels 1996 Buick century sedan 3.1L V6. Btw the one you have didn't come with the trunk release option that should be where that circle is in the glove compartment
It's a ford freaking ranger!!! WOW!!!
Nice buick great cool old car . Fuel pump little work take it to the car show
That Dodge Neon had the 100$ Dollar Special Maaco Paint Job
love the ranger
I really like that Ford Ranger I could do things with that truck I think they some good running trucks I had one years ago and it ran just fine for a few years change the oil and do your regular maintenance on it and you got yourself a fine truck
My friend and I picked one of these up here recently about the same condition with a vinyl top, he liked it and it drove great after some basic repairs, but the police just would not leave him alone in it, so he ultimately traded it for a newer vehicle.
The Buick is a awesome car i had a olds ciera (same thing) it was a beast in the snow. The century should have a metal tank as my 93 ciera did costed less then 150 for new tank straps sending unit and pump
Go for the Buick
Keep in mind those 3.3 when they sit a long time the valves in the heads crystalize and lead to engine failure
That Buick was someone's grandparents car. Probably got donated when they passed.
Fuel pump or relay on the Buick Century! Be a good car for someone if it's cheap! That little Ranger will run forever! Push rod engine 4.0 is a great motor!

Could be a crank sensor..
I like the pickup.
Had one of those bad boy's, my cousin had a earlier model the only problem with those they had Electrical Problems
I like those old centurys they were just a simple little car that drove good with a V6.
I had a 03 neon oh gosh just about anything is better lol. Still want that Subaru!!
I would drive that Buick in a heartbeat.
I love those old buicks
Had a 89 Buick century custom it was my great grandfathers could also be a map sensor issue
Buick is badass!!!
3:38 One odd place for a hood strut & it looks good. we had a 92 olds cutlass cierra international 3300 same color model car seen in The X files Episode 1 - ours no spoil on it
Randy, that motor out of that Buick would fix your Camaro. I'm just sayin' ...
I would love to have that I love them oldies
I like that Buick
If Mike needs something to haul the Mercedes’s to and from Copart or IAA then yes Randy get him that truck. I want it!!! 😁👍
I would take that Buick Century in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey buddy hope you are filling better you an your family are doing well see you soon buddy
The old-timers called the special steering wheel enhancement on the Ranger “necker knobs”.
Currently diving a 93 Pontiac Grand Am with the 3300. It's just a smaller version of the 3800. Super reliable! My car has 224,000 miles and climbing. Its my daily. I'd like to find a Buick Century or Olds Cutlass Ciera Wagon with this engine to make my daily driver so I can run the Grand Am in the 24 hours of lemons race. 😝

Nice! They don't make them like they used too..
That ranger mechanically is perfect
Buick Buick yep yep thanks for walking for me . Eyes and ears
from experience with these motors, its most like the ecm unit.
Hell yes. I do.
That’s a good car
Buy it for him... he needs it
Those were called Dinner Plate hubcaps at my Buick store..lol
Hey Randy, look forward to your videos every day! I think that Buick if it’s almost free could be a really good deal! Low mileage, interior looks great! body not that bad! could be really good transportation for someone for next to nothing! looking forward to seeing how your bid Went!
I had a Ranger like that. They run forever, I'd drive that
Ive heard those called Brodie knobs. Yeah that Buick is a score for someone. Fix that mechanical issue, replace that tail light and detail. Good to go.
I thought you’d take a look at the Nissan Frontier next to the buick
The sad thing is I just junked a 1996 Buick with a good tail light! .... ..also had a newer gas tank fuel pump and sending unit !
They called a Nickerson Knob so you could drive and hold your honey. I have one on a 57 Chevy pu

Neckers knob
Someone loved that ranger...
That Buick is sweet! Also that ranger deserves a paint job, that truck surprised me on how good it runs. Ford definitely doesn't make them like that anymore.
I would save that Buick century there's not a lot of those left and that little Ford ranger would be a perfect work truck for like a lawn service.
Mike would look pretty fly in it and look pretty fly guy 🎉
U should by it and take it on a 7 hundy mills to see if it makes it a long way and back
The Buick is a Big Al special.
Out of cars I would get the Buick I like the older ones good luck getting it if u decide to
That definitely was a seniors car it’s in great shape I would drive it
I had a 2000 Dodge neon what a pile a junk it was. It got me back and forth to work though
"They painted it closed" lol
That Buick and ranger you should get both of them are so very good vehicles
My parents had a Buick century and they drove it until the wheels fell off 🤣🤣🤣
You might be condemning Mike to death suggesting that he tow his Mercedes behind the ranger. The 4.0 will have no problem with it, but the ranger has very soft suspension and doesn't weigh enough. It would be very squirrelly, for sure.
Thats a great truck u should buy it
good olde gm A-body. sturdy to....
I'd take the Ranger all day that's a good engine 4.0 old push rod style set up.
Double cab or extended cab
We had that gen ranger with a 302 V8 swapped in it out of a mustang
lIf the truck had a bench or split bench seat,,, then the thingy on the steering wheel would be called a necker knob,,, :-) otherwise it is for one handed steering while you are holding your beer,, :-)
That Ranger truck would be great for a give away vehicle,,I know my granddaughter would drive it
Hey where can I get this? I'd like to bid on it im 16 and need a parts car for my 92 Buick Century I love it but parts are gonna get harder to get
