Fellow Brit here who came across your channel earlier this month after trying to check out the Nashville nightlife and stumbling across your video with Tractor Boy hitting the Honky Tonks on Broadway. I thoroughly enjoyed your vlog as it’s a place I want to visit. It looked amazing and full of country music greats. I was brought up on country music and been to Wembley twice when I was 8 years old with my mum and dad watching Tammy Wynette, Charlie Pride, Merl. Haggard to name a few. Nowadays I love Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Luke Bryan but always country. Thank you for filming there 👍

As always enjoyed the video, Vinyl making a huge comeback, most artists sell vinyl, in fact bought liam Gallagher’s latest album on vinyl , as your with Martin whose obviously a big music fan , you must I mean must visit Sun Studios, only a couple of hours drive to Memphis.

Hi Lee, just to illiterate ,vinyl has made a comeback, I'm still using it now and still have my Denon DP50 from 1981 ,still sounds great after all these years also have still over a 100 vinyl's .Great vlog .

We really enjoyed visiting the Country Hall of Fame but you will enjoy it more if like us you enjoy the Country music scene. Liked the fact that this was a different vlog

I agree. I like most things musical and Nashville ticks all boxes. I also thought it was very clean when I went 👍🏼

Fun seeing the museum. Looks very interesting. But if you have a 6'4" friend, he has to eat! Let's go!

I'm a digital DJ but I do miss the artwork but don't miss having to carry flight cases or records upstairs! Your right though, things are so different that kids don't listen to albums and only listen to singles these days so miss the whole experience.

Great idea for vlogs but it should be something your interested in so that you get a better feel of how much you like a place to come across more thanks for sharing 😁

Great blog. But it’s a shame, if you’re not interested in Country Music in the first place it will mean nothing to you .The history in there is phenomenal, we’ve been there 4 times and still havnt seen everthing. Will be back next june. I was hoping you’d do the Grand ole Opry and the Ryman but as i say if you’re not interested and don’t know who anyone is it won’t mean anything to you.( The silver fox was knowledgeable he knew his stuff ) But thankyou for doing it and for not slagging it off. It’s not your fault i wouldn’t be interested in anything Pop . Each to their own i say. You’re food blogs have been fab and the Bull the other night was soo funny. Keep them coming .

Very interesting vlog. Lee, I can see that Martin got more enjoyment out of this visit than you did. No Who, Beatles, Stones, Chicago anywhere. Haha! I think you would, no doubt, enjoy the Rock & Roll hall of fame more in Cleveland, Ohio. Personally, I am not a Country music fan but yern for the 60s and 70s UK Rock music. Great vlog, though and Martin was very knowledgeable about this place.👍

Really great vlog - enjoy the food reviews too but it’s really interesting to see what else Nashville has to offer. Would love to see you, the Silver Fox and Darren John do a road trip series together!

Haha. I'm picturing DJ shipping over 'Daisy Duke', and Lee attached in a side-car (with 'Off the Charts' on it). Martin would be the Harley type (one of those chopper bikes where you're practically reclining)... he wouldn't be wearing a helmet, as it'd flatten his man-bun. He'd wear leathers, with a 'Leeds United' patch on the back. Bickering would ensue, as DJ and Silverfox would want to go to all the expensive places... protestations by Lee trailing behind proclaiming "HOW MUCH!!!???" 😁

Need to do more sights definitely.

Mister Macmaster I'm not a country & western fan but you can't deny the music has been a part of our growing up & there were some very very talented artists...I realise that even if you Don't like something you have to give credit were credit is due...keep up the varied vlogs😁👍

Love the videos but this museum is well worth the money. There are a lot of interactive displays as well as historical videos that were not shown. It is not something to do every time you go to Nashville but first time visitors and any country music fans should definitely go. Prepurchase tickets is a must during the Summer.

Clint Eastwood does a great country duet with Ray Charles called Beers to You which appears at the start of Any which way you can (1980) . Love that country song ! Funnily enough Smokey and the bandit 2 was on itv4 the other day as well

Thanks guys as that was interesting to me anyway. Always knew Elvis’s gold Cadillac was on display there…bonus seeing the Trans Am fr Smokey n the Bandit too. Good to see the clothing n instruments etc….thought they’d be playing country hits n vdos throughout the tour. I’d be interested in the Studio B tour as v famous recording studio. I really enjoyed it there. I went 15 years ago as part of an ELVIS Presley tour for an anniversary of his death. Went to Graceland for a tour and midnight vigil and then to Nashville. There’s a nice hotel (Union Station I think), lovely building. Also the Parthenon 🏛

so - the gold plated Caddy was a white Cadillac with a few of the chrome bits gold plated - looks like Colonel Tom Parker was the originator of clickbait. There are some LOUD jackets there I see - or could see until they burned my retina's out lol. Very interesting - 20 years ago I'd have said not for me but as I have got older I find I appreciate and understand many more varied types of music so I have no doubt I'd actually find a lot to interest me there. Where I am sat right now to my left is a book case full of my vinyl collected over 40 + years - I can only be buried with them all if I am buried in a skip ha ha ha ha

Don't take this the wrong way Lee..but your walking vlog's, culture & visiting the places of interest beats your food vlog's...no diss intended but just an observation...there's only so many full English breakfast vlog's you can view

Shame you can’t tell the other 60,000 people that as these get the least amount of views. A Full English and a £1 burger get way more views. The TWA Hotel I filmed took ages to film and edit, I was really proud. Yet A Fish and Chip vlog gets more views. However a mixture of all of them is the way to go I guess. I just enjoy making them all. I do also Enjoy eating Fish and chips quite a lot. lol :)

Price of entry is actually $27.95 each and I think you said $55 each at beginning of video.

We went to the Johnny Cash museum when we were there. It was very good. Memphis is much better, in my opinion. Sun Studios, Stax Museum and, of course, Graceland are all worth a visit.

$50... to visit a country music MUSEUM!? Highway robbery! And there's mugs queuing up around the corner for it. Sheer madness, and pure greed. Not a place I'd visit. I'd think twice before going in, even if it was free. Anyway, thank you for showing it us, lads.

I like country music and I live in Nashville. I've never been to this, or many of the tourist traps around here. Grossly overpriced. It's a shame too, because the collection there is amazing but most locals here don't allow themselves to be swindled by these crooks. There's no excuse for the price of the ticket there and they do it because there's so much tourism that they can.
