Seeing you running those Pegasus reminds me why I never buy Nikes. My last three pairs of Saucony shift 2s have well over 1000 miles, and they look identical to when I first bought them lol.

My no spoiler prediction seeing as how you ran a 5:30 mile after already running a 5:51 in the pegs, is sub 17 minutes for a 5k. Maybe a bit optimistic, but that's my guess. Edit: Ok so I was a bit off, but 17:38 in the heat is really good. Maybe you can do a series where you train to break 16 in the 5k, just like that 1 month 1 mile training video with Denis's training? I would love to see that.

It's actually the Adidas Prime X 2 Strung, and it's heavy A.F.

I have that same neon green/yellow as a back up pair. I train in the prime x2/asic novablast and superblasts. I race 5/10k’s in adidas prime x1. They are faster than my tukami sen 9 and Nike streakfly.

I'd take adios pro, vaporfly, alphafly, endorphin pro, endorphin elite, Rocket X2, Cielo x2, wave rebellion pro, metaspeed sky/edge, Cloud boom, over the prime strung any day of the week from 5k to 42 k

no they are banned for the stack height. they are slower than standard super shoes. terrible shoes

I like Vaporflys more, but I think these are still GOOD shoes! A little heavy but much better than running in trainers

@@triabitdef not terrible shoes, I have a pair of the base prime x’s and they are miles better than vaporflys on long workouts and long runs, they provide tons of momentum throughout the run
