Angelina sings today better than already established world stars. No one can stop Angelina from becoming a world star. That's just how it is!

I think 10 is the magic number for Angelina. By 10 yo she had left behind any remnant of a child's voice & was a fully professional vocal artist. By 12-13 she was a world class artist that could keep up with any of the top vocalists today. By 16 she is the best I've ever seen, either from historical legendary footage or from present day super stars.

Another incredible performance that equals the original and competes to be better, at 10 yrs old. Gloria would be impressed. I have no doubt. Another example of Angelina being able to sing anything. No one like out Barefoot Princess. 👣

The best example of Angelina at 10 yrs. old is definitely Angelina sings at Alan Walker is Coming Home in 2016 at his hometown in Bergen. He said no one made his songs sound better than this 10 yr. old girl!

Her voice in this is just incredible, for any singer really, let alone a 10 year old girl. Looking at the youngest pictures of her in this video, (I am very well aware of her looks through her life, and the earliest ones here is from she was 10), and thinking that SHE is the one singing it is almost eerie 🙂 Eerie in a good way though. JESSE, I was in my late teens and early 20's in the 1970's when disco was popular. I never liked disco, except for one BeeGees song and this Gloria Gaynor song. I thought Gloria had an amazing voice. But I have to be completely honest and say that I much prefer Angelina's rendition of this song. She kills it at 10 years old! But if you want to hear something even more unbelievable from her at this same age of 10, you should react to "I'm Still Holding Out for You"! It's a fan-made, "leaked" video (the only one on KZread), so it's easy to find. I don't know how to do links -- sorry!

Wow... this is the first time I ever heard her sing this iconic song. She made it her own and it was fantastic!

Not just the timbre of her voice, but the _dynamics_ in this one are *insane* . She's singing in a _totally_ different way than how she usually does, but it sounds so… "convincing". When I first heard this one back in 2020, just after the tempo picks up and she really starts "going for it" I exclaimed, "She sounds like a 35-year-old black woman!" Then I realized, that precisely describes Gloria Gaynor when she recorded this song in 1978! But if you go back to her original version(s) [studio and live], she didn't really sing it like this. As usual, Angelina is taking specific aspects of the original singer's general style and "turning them up to 11". Like I've said about several of her covers of different artists, in this one she's "more Gloria Gaynor than Gloria Gaynor". You can almost hear her reading the lyrics as she sings. Usually you can't tell she's doing that just by listening to the audio, but here I think you can - especially when she stumbles over the words at various points. I think there's a good chance that this was a first (and perhaps only) take, which is _crazy_ to consider. As for whether she was really 10 here (i.e., whether it was really from 2016): although her Mosarz channel is notorious for getting her age wrong in the video titles (which makes me think her grandmother was probably providing the videos to someone else to post and give titles to), that's mostly with behind-the-scenes stuff from right after she won NGT (and I think also some of the stuff from the year or so before she went on the show - although that's harder to "prove"). It might be more likely to be correct in this case since they gave a year rather than her age. But anyway… I initially pushed back against the idea that she was 10 here, but after becoming more familiar with her voice at 9 and 10, I came to accept it as "a distinct possibility". (I still find it hard to wrap my mind around, though.) If true, this has got to be _really_ late in the year, around the same time she did "Feeling Good" on _The Stream Gir Tilbake_ (which you have reacted to) and [reportedly] "I'm Still Holding Out for You" (which you haven't, but need to).

Jesse, your sweater looks cozy. I'm really feeling the cold this winter. These videos that can be accessed are maybe only a tip of the iceberg. It seems to me the reactors need to pay attention to how often the word "insane" is used.... LOL! It's really nice seeing her fun side of life. Angelina, at nearly 17, is clearly a teen and it shows. But her life is filled with positive productivity. As a woman, I hope she doesn't get derailed by a relationship with the o.s., but that is not something we can control. Her life is more complex than that of many of her fans. She's global, and will be more global, with all of the pluses and minuses of that. I wish for her a solid, dependable love in old age, because that is when you start seeing the whole of your life in the context of work to finish. You see chances missed and taken. You see both fruit and rot on the tree. I really hope she makes good original music, but in any case, her voice needs to be heard. Time for me to figure out what is my next chore, so thank you. Great reaction Jesse, and yes, of course a great performance by Angelina... - Because by chance just before this I watched a reaction to Cakra Khan singing this song with a live band I checked your channel and found not a single reaction to CK, maybe you don't even know him yet? I'm usually more into female vocals, with some few exceptions (one is Henning May from AnnenMayKantereit, I'm still waiting...), and Cakra Khan is definitely one guy I could listen to all day long, such an exciting voice... But it seemed to be too much out of context here, so I stuck with Gloria's song hoping Tennessee Whiskey would come up next... though there's a mashup of Angelina's "I'd rather go blind" cover with the original of "Tennessee Whiskey" which is great too, those two videos together would make for an interesting thematic double reaction... :)
