If you watched and listened carefully, I was clear that the problem could be on my side and I'd rather stay single with a happy and comfortable child than be with someone who makes him unhappy. Remember that respect is earned and it's usually from the adult to the child first, not vice versa.

All that's well planned and my children will take care of me in old age. If they can't do it I'd rather check myself into a nyumba ya wazee where I'll get free nursing services which are way better than mixing love with homecare in old age.

Blended families are for the sake of providing the kids with a chance to grow in a family home. As for the co-parenting, it's about being a father or mother figure or at worst, a good friend. Without those kids there's absolutely nothing between the two people. That's why I was clear about a Blended family requiring lots of maturity, sacrifice, commitment, etc which are veeery rare virtues not found in many people.
