I’m so glad Joyce said you cannot control your dreams. I usually think the bad dream is some deep subconscious mistake I have made. I’m a case, I’ll tell you. I am so blessed and grateful that God loves me just as I am.

I’m 65 and in my entire life I’ve only had half a dozen good dreams. My dreams have always been nightmares. Probably because of physical, emotional and sexual abuse as a child and young adulthood. I finally got fed up with it and prayed for Heavenly Father to take away my memory of what I dreamed about at night unless the dream was from Him. I got a good result immediately. Since that day, I don’t remember my dreams which is much preferable to vivid nightmares.

God is not like your dad. Human parents often are not capable of unconditional love, especially if they were victims of abuse themselves. God is perfect and His love is perfect even when we are not.
