I will be tested for CCSVI! and response to Andrea's video

BEFORE I WRITE ANYTHING ELSE, I want to tell you that I will try to contact someone in Italy to find out more about the test and I will bring the study material with me so the person that will do the test will find out about Dr. Zamboni's research.
I know very well that this might NOT be the right test because the person that will do it hasn't received the training from Dr. Zamboni or someone that works with him but I am happy anyway and I do think that this will help me.
I have been having heart problems for the past few weeks and today I met with a cardiologist that I had never met before. I brought all the papers with me to present Dr. Zamboni's research and while the young doctor was confused and wasn't too supportive of the research, he was sensitive and kind enough to understand that it's possible to have MS patients do a test of this sort.
I REPEAT that this might not be the right test that will allow me to find out if there is a blockage in my veins but, for me, today is a good day because I was able to see the reaction of another doctor to Dr. Zamboni's research, because I was able to talk about it more and let one more person know about it and because, hopefully, I will find out what's wrong with my heart!!!!! I will have to do two other tests in the next two weeks and I will get some answers soon!
In the second part of the video, I answer to the questions that Andrea asked us yesterday. I only remember 3 of them, sorry! :)

Dear Sarah, you are amazing!!! You are actually going far away to get the test while I am going to have it five minutes away from home! You are a good example to all of us!! and, if I find out that the test I do is not the right one, I will have to go to Ottawa which is the closest place for me in Canada where they follow Dr. Zamboni's work. Good luck to you too!! and tell us all about it when you come back! Hugs, Angela

Angela, My wife, Angela Marie, has a large Italian family and heart disease is common among them. Coronary Artery DIsease and hyperlipidemia (High cholesterol) effect them from even a young age. Their diet is good. They take medicine. It is genetic in their case. That good, thick, Italian blood carries cholesterol. My father in-law had his first heart attack in his mid-30's. You are very wise to see the cardiologist. I pray for your health and happiness. God bless. Mark

Dear Cristina, I don't know what I would do without your support and your encouraging words! When things become too tough, I remember that what I am doing is helpful and that I need to continue do to it no matter what! :) Thank you for being one of those amazing and supportive healthy people that care about others and that can put themselves in other people's shoes. I appreciate your kindness and your friendship. Have a good night, hugs Angela

Dear Mark, you are absolutely right: it is genetic and while I think that in my family these problems skipped a generation (and it often does) I do feel that my MS has something to do with my blood and the circulation. I did metion this to all the doctors that I met in the past 3 years and few believed me and I was able to do the antiphosfolipid test and many others but they never showed anything wrong This is still a real mistery for me Thank you so much for the wishes and for being a friend

Ciao carissimo Primoz! I think that the pill that you are talking about is Fingolimod and it's made by Novartis, Switzerland! It's funny how I don't take many drugs, but I know so much about them!!!! :) I just like to see where they come from, and I see that so many of them come from Europe... I am glad that the relapse you are having this time is not as bad and that you are able to continue to do things. I have to go do the test but I will be back! Un grosso bacio, con affetto Angela

Oh, caro Omario, ma tu non dormi mai!!!! You never sleep!!! In England is 3 o'clock in the morning!!!! I can't scold you too much because you are just like me!!! I was very lucky today and I still cannot believe it! I will thank this doctor soooo much because he really listened to me and that is wonderful! I hope that you will be able to get the test done too and maybe get the real deal so you can see if you have the CCSVI problem that the people in the study did. Buona notte! Angela

Hi Michael! It is so nice to hear from you! How have you been? I am looking forward to the test. Tomorrow I am going by the hospital to drop off the information for the technician so he/she can look at over and then I plan to bring copies of everything with me the day of the test, just in case... Thank you for coming by. I hope you are doing well. Take care, Angela

Dear Andrea, you are so sweet and I can "feel" that you are happy for me and that you are excited for all of us! Like I said to others, this is probably not the exact test that Dr. Zamboni does but what makes me the happiest is to know that there are some doctors that WILL CARE and that will be willing to open themselves to this idea and allow us to get tested. Now, we have to get the right information to them so they can give us the right test! I am hopeful too dear Andrea! Thanks so much!

Dear Isabella, the test is safe and it's ok to do and I feel that it's necessary to do it do get things moving in the right direction. Hopefully, soon this test will be done the right way to everyone. Have a good day and keep on fighting! :) Je t'embrasse, bises Angela

Thank you Susan! I plan to do this right! In fact, I am preparing the test protocol to bring with me when I go to do the test. I will also send and bring a copy ahead of time (the hospital is 5 minutes away from my house) so the technician will know what to do before I get there (I hope!) Thank you so much for the support! :) Take care, Angela

Dear Harmony, you are the first one this time! I am so glad that the doctor listened to me and that he didn't shut me off right away! I know that this might not the right test but if there is something wrong in there, maybe it will show up anyway. What makes me very happy is the fact that another doctor is aware of what Dr. Zamboni is doing and that what he has found can happen in people with MS! I am also looking forward to finding out what's wrong with my heart. I will write to you soon!

Dear Toby, thanks for coming by. I am not sure if I will be the first one but I will tell you that the test that I will be getting might not be the "real" one that Dr. Zamboni uses to see the vein problem in MS people. The person that will do this test has not being trained to do it the way Dr. Zamboni does it but I think it's a good step anyway. I plan to contact someone in Italy and ask for extra informations and to share it with the person that will do the test. Thanks for the wishes! :)

Dear Bill, I know that you are nervous about this and I understand why. I do think that the test that doctors normally do are not what Dr. Zamboni is doing so I am not expencting too much...but I am happy that I have the chance to do it and see if there is something wrong. I am looking forward to the day when every doctor will know how to do the right test and get us the help that we need. I was going to write to you but you are must faster then me on this! I will do it very soon! Take care!
