As a Filipina-American.. It hurts my heart that I wasn't born into the motherland 🥺😭 I was never taught Tagalog and we don't even learn much about our motherland in schools. Our system sucks here. Watching this channel makes me long for a home that I wasn't born into 😩 And makes me happy at the same time. I started watching Li Ziqi and I started wondering if my people did this stuff on KZread. I found his channel! I teared up happily 🥰🥺

Eating together with your family is a different type of contentment and happiness. Talking about random stuff not the business. Checking your kids how their day going. Share some unexpected happenings to your parents. Laughing all together. Being scold in front of the meal can make you realize things better. To those kids nowadays, indulge the disciplinary actions made by your parents. Take it. Cause someday you'll be thankful on how they raise you. And this family show how to raise a good kiddos.

I just recently discovered your channel and I had to subscribe immediately. I am Filipino gurl , grew up in Bohol but my family migrated here in America when I was a teenager. I am now a successful Nurse here in America , I am grateful for what I have but I have been longing for a simple life like you have. I need to slow down. Life here in America is fast paced and stressful. I own a big house here, wears designer bag , drives a BMW but I honestly believe simplifying my life would make me more happy...Ben you have a great life , Thanx for making these videos , it relaxes me and brings me back to the Philippines

high rises is OK. Big houses and residential subdivisions are WORST. We dont have land space to have that kind of houses.High rises condo/apartments at least can house many residents.

Wow, a long trip for the pikaw, but it was worth it. The forest so peaceful, the family harvest rice together, and then eat together, very nice Jesus bless amen :)

That's also one of the exotic vegetables we love here in Mountain Province. We call it "pekaw". Our elders will often advise whoever would want to get them from the falls to be extra careful as it's really dangerous. They say a lot have died because of it.
