That's true Philippines soil is very fertile..just throw seeds of fruits and vegetables outside the window and it will grow... I think this is the main reasons why Filipinos are lazy..everything is provided ...rich in natural resources.

Those are tiny variety called "petite potatoes" I bake and broil them in the oven with salt and pepper, olive oil and chopped rosemary good accompaniment for steak

Byag ti agyan ti probinsya Agmula ti nateng,apan agkayo,agburas ti mais,ag-ani ti pagay It's hard but it's fun cause growing up in countryside I learn how to work in a field and to collect firewood(for cooking)even though that I'm a girl And I'm proud to say I'm a daughter of a farmer❤❤❤

Daludal is the favorite amongst all my favorite ilocano dish I can eat everyday without complaining 😍

Galing kami ng probinsya sa Isabela. Bata pa ako nung napunta kami dito sa US. Dito na ako nag high school and college sa Seattle, almost 40 years na kami dito. Yes, nandito rin sa Seattle ang mga well known na mga companies gaya ng Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, dito rin nag umpisa ang Costco, marami na rin mga maliliit na mga high tech companies at hindi rin nahuhuli ang mga hospitals namin dito (sister ko isang payroll accountant sa isang malaking hospital dito almost 6K ang employees nila at very proud ako dahil sa lahat ng hospitals namin dito sa Seattle maraming mga PINOY na mga RN na halos lahat US educated). Mga mayayaman na mga Canadians at mga Russians dito sila nag papa surgery o cancer treatment kasi walang waiting period dito. Nandito kaming lahat ng mga kapatid ko. Tatay at Nanay ko pareho ng pumanaw. Tatay ko Ilokano at nanay ko ay Tagalog kaya kaming lahat na magkakapatid ay marunong mag tanim ng mga gulay. Halos lahat na ng pagkain dito sa America ay natikman kona dahil over the years more than half of the States ay napuntahan ko na. Hindi ko ipagpapalit ang pagkain nating mga Pinoy gaya ng sinigang, nilaga, pakbet, ginisang monggo at mga kakanin gawa sa malagkit o sweet rice. Hindi ako mahilig sa mga donuts or pastries pero syempre titikim din ako para alam ko lasa. Hindi ako mahilig sa mga gadgets. Simple lang ang buhay na gusto ko. Pag umuuwi kami sa Pinas kahit super init sinasamantala kong magluto sa kalan na kahoy dahil para sa akin masarap ang naluluto sa kalan. Masarap manguha ng talbos ng kamote, ampalaya, alukbati at iba pang mga gulay. Nung nasa Pinas pa kami wala kaming mga material things dahil wala pa kaming koryente. Radio lang ang meron sa amin dahil magsasaka ang tatay importante na malaman namin ang weather dahil kong may baygo kailangan pag handaan. Mahirap magpatuyo ng kahoy na pang gatong sa kalan pag basa kaya isa yon at meron din kaming rancho ng mga baka pag nasira ang bakod kailangan maayos agad para hindi mag layas ang mga baka. Ako mas gusto ko buhay sa bukid. Walang pollution, tahimik, relax ang mga tao hindi parating nagmamadali. Dito sa America puro stress ang pakiramdam mo.
