Welcome to Jamaica the land we love and im here to experience the real raw unseen jamaica from both angles. Today im sharing my experience with you guys inside one of the most feared Neighbourhood called Trench Town.
Despite Trench Town being soo dangerous its populary known for being the birth place of raggae music and where popular Jamaican artists like Bob Marley ,Peter Tosh among many other and therefore considered as the birthplace of Raggae Music.
Special Thanks To @ChrisMustList For connecting me to the locals and also @KINOLIFEINJAMAICA For showing me around and if Youd wish To Donate anything towards Kinos projects of helping the needy Reach Kino Out On instagram KinolifeinJamaica.

I smiled big when the colorful host pulled out a chilled coconut for Dee. I'm so glad you came to Trench Town because you are helping to dispel the many negative ideas about this place. It is not an accident that the reputation promoted of Trench Town succeeds in keeps even local people away in fear. This is to ensure that there is no socio/economic investment , far more improvement. However, it is good to see all the proud, ambitious, hardworking people who want to make a change. Bless-UP!

Hey Dee, reaching you from Sudbury, Ontario Canada. I love that you link up with Chris he is like a movie star in the jungle of the ghettos of Kingston. The ghetto lifestyle is not the true image of Jamaica. I was born in Portland but moved to Canada as a child over 50 years ago. I have only been back twice. I need you to see the wide cross-section of Jamaica. Portland doesn't have crime most beautiful part of Jamaica with great beaches and the Blue Lagoon etc. The people of Portland are the true descendants of Nanny of the Marrons she was from the kingdom of Ghana....a princess who was kidnapped into slavery. Read the story because she ends up slaughtering a lot of the oppressors and runs to the hills of the Blue Mountains.. I cant wait for your next video. Enjoy your trip to Jamaica.

You are a true female warrior Dee. Bob Marley would be proud to see u giving an update of the on going plight of the residents in the place where he spent much of his life. Thanks for not "sugar coating" what u see. The daily life experiences of those living in poverty and the rich are as disturbing as it is in far too many countries. Your tour guide is an awesome advocate for the poor and deserves all of the support u are encouraging your viewers to give him. Please share his link. ❤🙏🏼👍🤝😊

I’m a Jamaican living in Washington, DC since 1962, where I came to university. As an artist, the visit to the Kingston waterfront and murals was my favorite segment. Dee, you gave an excellent first time, up-front view of that part of the island with its Kingstonian flavor, making me homesick with memories. The video was not touristy so, as a Kenyan, you got the natural vibes, and I enjoyed your culture shock reactions as the locals seemed more cool Ghanaian-like than “edgy”Nigerian, if you get my cultural drift. I enjoyed your group’s visit.

The first time I went to JA back in 1984, I went to Trench Town, cuz I saw Jimmy Cliff in the Harder they Come and that was the only place I knew, the only location name that I knew. 😂I loved the ital food in JA, especially when BIG DREAD cooked for me, it reminded me of my own Japanese dietary practice of Macrobiotics, or Big Life. Sorry to hear about Colors' infection. Please go tell him to go to the drug store and buy the most expensive probiotics he can afford. My friend in Dean's Valley, Westmoreland can attest to how much it made her feel better, when she was having an emergency crisis of infection just before and during my visit in July. if you have infections these infections arise from the GUT and control the brain, the immune system and the skin. Colors needs to get some healthy bacteria in his GUT microbiome ASAP so that the PAIN will be reduced dramatically cuz the healthy bacteria will signal POSITIVE VIBES to his gut and brain. Jah Knows. Rastarfari. One Love. More Love. 😍

Im Jamaican and that's exactly how I want to see black America again before desegregation. Remember that was what Marcus Garvey wanted. He meant no harm🤷🏿‍♂️

Dee…..Congratulations on such a super job!! This is my home, and you’re doing an excellent job of being respectful, honest and professional, showing the true face of Jamaica…..Thank you!! I really had a good laugh when the gentleman ( the patty maker), “pop out the patwah”…..I’m still laughing, you were quiet, no comment, no questions….just quiet! Not to worry Love, I’m Jamaican and I had trouble understanding a lot of what he was saying….(Of course, I’ve lived away for over fifty years). Here and there, you say “Mmmm….or yeh…”!! I’ll be laughing for a while… I also commend you for seeing the “strength, talent and giftings” in Jamaicans. We are Blessed in so many ways and have much to offer the world but often overlooked…..You bring out the best in the people, and will be remembered fondly……This makes your content….”above the rest”…..Be Blessed and keep up the good work!!
