I went to EMERGENCY in Georgia... (worst travel experience)
One of the worst nightmare while travelling is having an accident or injury.
We had to call 911 (or 112 in Georgia) because Steve suddenly had outrageous pain on his lower back that he couldn't move at all. He went to emergency room. But the healthcare in Georgia was disappointing nonetheless.

I'm from Tbilisi and your experience with the hospital is very common, you often need to break their walls down to get some help.
I know lots of ppl will give you lots of advice. From the video, I am sure you did not fracture your back, it is called lower back spasm.... super painful. Only thing they'll give you is pain killer, if they give you an injection that is to relax the muscles but will not cure. Now just to lie on your back and rest (might take about 3 to 5 weeks) before you can feel better, it will definately go off. BUT even after you are better...DO NOT CARRY A BACKPACK, Do not carry any heavy load or else it will hurt the healing muscles. LET THE MUSCLES HEAL!!!!!

i think you're right..I was in a similar situation many years ago....doctor said it was slipped disc, but it turned out to be lower back spasm....and it was caused by overexertion during weighlifting. Took me years to fully recover. This is no joke. I do hope in this case, it's not such a severe situation.

exercise and heat will fix the problem in few days. Waiting and thinking negative will fix you in 5 weeks like you said.

Agree 100%, I had it 2 weeks ago. The worst part is getting off the bed. Took muscle relaxer painkillers for a week, and then the pharmacist gave painkillers that were for pain, inflammation, and fever. That helped. I'm going back to him for more. I also did leg exercises mainly swinging legs forward n backwards just to try and release that pinch in lower back.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Sending you lots of positive healing energy

that doesnt help 🤡
Steve, do you think in Canada you'd have been attended faster?! I was waiting in the waiting room of the ER at North York hospital with my toddler with a 41C fever, for almost 5 hours!!! The only thing they did was bring her Tylenol, and I was there after hours of administering Tylenol and Advil and her fever wasn't going down! Such a prolonged fever can cause brain damage in small children! I started screaming and threatening them to sue the hospital for gross negligence, and ONLY then a doctor showed up...They realized that I knew what tf I was talking about, and that I wasn't gonna take it. Healthcare unfortunately has become a luxury, and the people who practice in it only want to make money by prescribing drugs not treatment or care...

you definitely would not, as a Canadian as well our health care is collapsing so much that I wish it was non union and privatized.
Prayers Steve, hope you gonna feel better soon 🙏
Speedy recovery, Steve. Take care.
I’m sorry to hear that Steve is in such pain without adequate relief. Hopefully he is able to find a hospital or clinic that is able to help him and diagnose his condition. Best of luck to you guys!
Speedy recovery Steve...take care and rest more.
get well soon❤
I never seen such careless doctors. Emergency came and see man who can't walk. Instead of help they just laugh? Omg

Sorry to hear what happened, Steve. You were in such pain yet you were jovial about it. Speedy recovery and good luck, man. Good thing Lvana is keeping an eye on you.
I hope you get better soon Steve. And your sense of humour even in difficult situations is incredible.😂
I don't like those people who work in that emergency room in Georgia. Steve, they did nothing for you. But they were quick to stick a nose stick up your nose. I hope your back is 100% recovered soon.
I’ve had 2 slip disc, deep tissue massage and spine decompression helps instantly. If you could, find a place to dead hang to decompress your spine. Get well soon ❤

I've been in a similar situation, but it was from a motorcycle accident, so at least I knew the cause. I couldn't imagine being in that much pain and not knowing the reason. Fingers crossed, my online friend.

It’s really painful even just watching. Wishing you recover soon.
🙏 for y'all to be able to find a pro doc for speedy recovery. Take care!
So sorry to see you go through this. Both my parents went through this in the past year, it's a terrible pain. All this being said, seeing you in the ambulance on that super bumpy road...just like a ridiculos comedy movie :))
Get well soon Steve, Keep strong Ivana! Sending good energy to you guys❤
This can be severe low back muscle spasm or a herniated disc. Imaging done in the ER can be either Xray, CT scan but the most superior test is an MRI. Funny fact in my 15 years working in the ER, I have only seen men come in on ambulance stretchers for this. Women usually walk in. This happened to me during my first year of residency, and i worked bent over for almost 5 months until it resolved on its own. I even got steroid injections in my back that did not work. I am super careful about keeping my core muscles strong now and proper bending and learning how to lift heavy objects.

Why this occur? Aging?
@tessa3007
3 ай бұрын
@keangwooichoo6138 Aging can lead to degenerative disc disease, being overweight, lifting heavy objects incorrectly, lack of muscle strength in the core, bending over and it just being your unlucky day. A variety a things can cause this in both the young and the old.
Take care of yourself!! 💪
Had same experience of pain last few weeks. Took a week to start to move more but not 100%. Been 5 weeks, much better, it was muscle spasm. Hope you recover soon
I had the same issue 10 days ago, now i am good :D
Oh no! Been there than that. I went for emergency and all they got to offer is pain killer so I went straight to chiropractor, walla! After, I came out the clinic, I was good as new!
The medical service is horrific, and they charged you prior? Three hours in and no even pain killers, oh my god i feel the pain. This happened to me as well roughly 2 years ago. The pain was unbearable. It made me not want to be alive, literally. So i had to call an ambulance midnight, and first thing the doc did when i arrived the hospital was to put me on a drip with painkillers, and it’s a life saver. Really related with Steve there, wish him all the best.
Steve, I really hope that you will get better very soon 🙏. I got the same problem in January. It took almost three weeks to recover. I went to the doctor, and only got painkillers.☺️
多保重,早日康复!❤❤❤Take care of yourself
Knowing steve is a hyper person, he must take it easy let his body heal.
I'm so sorry to see this!omg.....look so painful😢😢😢Hope u could recover fast!!🥺🥺🥺
hope things have improved since the live stream! once you tweak your back, it's likely to be recurring so you need to be careful when you bend down to pick up heavy objects or twist your back in any swift motion. start doing back stretches daily and if it happens again, warm up your back before getting out of bed - just lay back on bed, lift your feet up and do cycling motions. once your back is warmed up, you might be able to stand and walk a little without feeling like your back is jello. getting blood circulating to the injured area also helps it heal faster so this is where applying heat can help for a faster recovery. you can make a reusable heating pack by getting a bag of salt pellets/dried beans, put it in a canvas bag(or tied up kitchen cloth if in a pinch), and microwaving it for a minute. I saw some recommending acupuncture which is basically helping blood circulate to certain areas of the body so that does help recovery but it won't be an instant fix.
Pineo Hospital is a specialty maternity/ birthing clinic in Georgia. it is not equipped for any medical procedures other than related to pregnant women.
Get well soon Steve... Ivana really take good care of u..❤
That's why we have so many charches in 🇬🇪
Oh no! Poor Steve! 😭
OMG, no doctor in an emergency hospital? No painkillers? Man, I hope you get well soon! ❤
All you can do is rest and take pain meds. No heavy lifting. It will take time. Speedy recovery Steve.
best wishes❤
Get well soon. I had the same problem in Sweden, just bend down to carry a box about 5 kg of pork ribs, my whole back locked up. I can even hear the sound when it was 'locking' (slight cracking sound). Can 't move or even turn for about a month. That was the worse pain I've ever felt. Do some physio therapy to strenghten your back. Slight stretches will help to losen up before you get up of bed. I have beenalso doing Tai chi and some Shaolinl Ba Duan Jin Qigong for 2 years helps with muscles and tendons strengthening 5 days a week. Now the problem don't come back anymore,

Same here. When I tell people there was a cracking sound they laughed. My legs went jelly. The cocyx hurt like hell. Took almost a month. I did intermittent fasting, used lots of hot compress and now I'm good but when Iv not been sleeping well it will flair up.

Just strengthen your hip muscles and your back muscles, might take months or a year of regular exercise and stretches so that you will not have repeat problems. Now that it has happened, your lower back is vulnerable and can easily lock up. But no worry , exercise to build up those muscles. Can search for youtube on exercise to help. Take care and good luck.@@yummemys4608
Hi Steve, i had same exact situation as you with back spasm problem. Cant walk or standup or sit. I crawl too to the restroom. Super painful and i went to emergency too. Doctor gave a shot and extra strong painkiller. With good rest it went away after couple days. Btw i am in Dallas. We met once in Pulau Kapas few years ago. From now on take care of your back, do not lift or carry anything heavy. It may happen again.
Speedy recovery and I think the Chinese physiotherapy very helpful since I had the sciatica before and that was killing me too.
Take care and speedy recovery. To recover you need to eat MICI :))
Praying and hoping Steve have a speedy recovery🙏🙏🙏
Sorry you're going through that Steve. Had the same problem myself in 2002. Collapsed in the parking lot of my apartment complex when working in California. Got morphine injections and that didn't ease the pain. After a few weeks ended up in surgery and three weeks in hospital, then another 3 months before I was able to walk properly again. Luckily I had very good insurance as the total bill for the doctors, surgery, hospital stay and physiotherapy totaled $186,000. Hope you get taken care of soon.
I wanted to share a bit of my experience with lower back pain, as I know you're going through something similar. I've been dealing with these lower back spasms for years now. The first time it hit me was about 15 years back, during a trip to Chicago. Ever since then, it's been a recurring challenge. My chiropractor advised me to avoid bending and twisting simultaneously, which has been helpful to some extent. However, lately, it seems to be worsening, especially in the mornings. It turns out that the mobility of my hip joints isn't quite where it should be, causing my lower back muscles to work overtime to compensate. In an effort to manage it, I've been religiously doing stretches every morning. There are plenty of exercises out there that target this specific issue, so I've been exploring those too. I just wanted to let you know that I understand what you're going through. I hope you find relief soon. Take good care of yourself.
As someone who suffers from cronical problems in my lower back, I can totally feel your pain. This has happened to me frequently for +30 years now. Good thing is that it tends to pass after a few days. Seeing a chiropractor is not a bad idea either.
Take care Steve, certainly need to take care of your spine from now onwards...likely cannot carry heavy stuff until it recovers
@8:09 - 3 hours? In Edmonton/Calgary, it's 4-6 hours between 11 pm -2:00 am
I had the same thing a few years ago I couldn’t even lay down the pain was unreal had to sleep sitting in chair for a few days . Basically had to get some heavy duty pain killers and it slowly got better but except the next 3 weeks to be bad stay put .
I had this exact same issue 2 weeks ago. I had to crawl from the bedroom to the kitchen and use the counter to pull myself up and then shuffle sideways to the medicine cabinet. I took 800mg ibuprofen and that helped tremendously. You need to just relax and take it easy and it will heal. 100% a lower back spasm.
sounds like slipped disc. its a horror for that to happen in a foreign country. Hope steve get to see real doctor soon. stay safe
If the doctors and nurses are on their phones then this video will be a great one to save to show the intake coordinator if ever in a hospital in Georgia. A votre santé and Godspeed!
If you were in the U.S just the ambulance would be over a grand!
Stevie, we hope you feel better, I know somehow how it feels to have back pains. Unfortunately I saw you had a really bad one. Travel tip: usually in eastern Europe to have the doctors attention you need to slide some money in the doctors and nurses pockets in order to get treated faster. All the best, we cannot wait to see new videos with you guys. Hope you get better as soon as possible!!! Foorza Rapid!!

So sorry to hear that Steve, sincerely wish you have a quick recovery. I understand you bro, while I was in Russia I had fever of 39.2 it wasn't covid yet and with the accompany of a local Russian friend, I went to hopital they asked me to wait but nothing happened just waiting there for nothing for one hour, instead they were telling me to get an appointment which were gonna happen after 5 days later, which I managed to lower my temperature and constant severe cough a lot by taking just tablets and wet towers, I was so lucky enough to manage it by myself but if old ppl or weak ppl could be gone forever.
Oh dear Steve! This is horrible 😢 medical in Georgia doesn't look promising, sorry to say. Get well soon and take it easy! Both of you need strength 💪🏻💪🏻
Unfortunately in Canada you would have waiting 8 hrs to go to secondary waiting room then another 4 hrs for a doctor. Might as well die at home with peace.
I've been the same as u, n I couldn't even stand, I would scream. I ended up having surgery 3xs in 8 months, n I was paralized from the waist down. But time n heat n ice is all u can do till u can see a specialist, unfortunately. Feel better!!
In this situation, seeing a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner can be very helpful.
