There's a place like that in Blackburn that take paying guests but it's actually a homeless hostel for drunks. X

Gotta love the fact they put "luxury" on the signage. There's nothing luxury about that shithole! The mattress is absolutely MINGING and needs to be chucked in the skip! £24? It's not worth 24p. I wouldn't even stay there for free!

Do more of these vids mate enjoyed it. on a positive note the tiles looked decent in the bathroom 😊. The place looked good from the outside too, shocking room. When hotel hunter uk said yours was worse I didn’t believe it but yep it was.

What a venue, absolutely no blaming you for getting out of there. I've worked in the hospitality sector for many years, some of the places I worked were pretty crap, but this hotel takes the cake entirely. Kudos Adam for being brave and staying there

I'm now 60 plus, once there was a saying my mother told me - welcome to Blackpool luv! If my mother was still around she'd say, out of my way Joseph, let me get at that room! It would be ATTACKED with bleach etc! She would go at the owners with both barrels, not leaving until she got her money back! She'd then tell them Blackpool once had some pride! The reception desk was enough for me, in business studies I was told the reception desk is the first place where you have human contact with the owner! They and that desk HAS to be reasonable, or what image are they giving you about the standard of the room! Covid should have had Health Inspectors demolish these dumps! 😮

Alarm bells started ringing when I saw the state of the Reception "desk". Bell not working another clue. If no one appears to help me, in a shop, café or pub I walk away. I used to work in a Care Home, sometimes we couldn't answer the front door immediately but I always apologised, whether residents' relatives or delivery driver. It's how I was brought up, family were shopkeepers

Unbelievable 🙈I honestly thought it was a wind up at the beginning of the upload and thought you were having a laugh with us BUT then I realised it wasn't...How the hell is that still open 🤷‍♂️An absolute disgrace and I wouldn't stay there if my life depended on it and that plastic spoon stole the show...I don't think I ever recover after seeing that 🤮I was nearly sick watching that never mind being there in person...Fantastic upload mate and keep up the great work 👍🏻

As I said on Hotel Hunters video of this tip hole I wouldn't pay to stay and I certainly don't blame for leaving place needs shutting and condemning. Hello from California, new sub here. In 2013 I stayed at the Cecil Hotel in Down Town L.A. (you may have heard of it). It was in MUCH better condition than this place. This was one of the worst I've seen. Loved when you found the nibbled on crisp (potato chip as we say out here) under the sheets lol. I also loved the hazmat type suit lol. Anyways, great video, have a good one.

​@@MontiguueOG It was pretty unsettling because I sat up all night the night before reading horrible reviews on it. Saying it was dangerous and scary. I wanted to go because of the history and the Elisa Lam passing was all over the news at the time. I am and was super interested in it as well. If you google Cecil Hotel Yelp the old reviews are still up. Click "Old to new" if you get bored and read through them. Interesting/scary stuff.

I sat up all night reading reviews of the place the night before I went and knew I had to go check it out. If you get bored go to google and search Cecil Hotel Yelp, then click "Old To New" on reviews and read some of the old review. They are interesting and frightening at the same time.

My first viewing oif your splendid site Dans room is 'spotless' by comparison, it is in a far worse condition than that of your colleague who welcomed you as a 'visitor' to his room, how many other "visitors" are in his room, 20, 30 thousand? That could be the mattress figure on its own. You are clearly are a seasoned traveller Adam and I/WE thank you for the presentation style offered. Twenty years ago I stayed in a Wroxham, Norfolk, hotel, booked 2 rooms as a good friend came with me - it could almost be the same gaff!! The Hazmat-type suit is an excellent idea . Do you have a portable sheep-dip that you and your friend could use on the way out? Thank you both ! VBW x P.S. Latex gloves take up v.little space!

As soon as I saw the inside of that room, it immediately reminded me of some of the urbex videos I've seen of abandoned houses that have been left for years! 🤣 Admittedly, not as bad as some of those places, but it's certainly on the lower end of the scale of places that haven't been looked after to say the least. How they can offer that as accommodation really has to be seen to be believed. 'Pube on a spoon', sounds like a good name for a pub! 😂

I have stayed in worse but payed less which was behind the Yates pub now closed down. We had to go out the next morning for a loaf to make our own toast. We also got a taxi home rather than wait for the coach. Sad it was a great place in its day now finished

Not a mission I would have stayed there,u stayed there longer than me and When u said they charge more for family rooms! 😮 as if I would ever take my kids there!!! I have to say though I’m really enjoying your videos they r so funny u definitely inject some good humour into them 😊

The barrows was awful. I booked a checked out stunk of smoke an geeae was filthy. They moved me to the hotel next door. The heating was on in the room. You couldn’t turn off the bathroom stunk piss was flies in the room. It was absolutely awful. It looks nice in the outside, but the rooms are horrendous. Loveing ur content xx

Definitely one of the grubbiest hotels I've ever seen. Those pube remarks were hilarious. I lost it when you said I'm half tempted to eat that crisp lol. Good thing they didn't serve breakfast. You'd probably get half cooked eggs on toast. Cold beans and a complimentary ginger pube on top lmao.

It was a mess up by booking.com they accepted liability and sorted it but we did worry at first mate
