I went to a Whip Cracking Convention and All I Got Was This Bronze Medal
I finally went to WhipCon this past January in LA.
@Adam-Winrich organizes the event every year as a way for whip performers, cosplayers, and enthusiasts to get together, hang out, and practice together. It was awesome to get to meet a ton of people I've been following on social media for years but never got to meet in person.

I was completely unaware that there were actually competitions and conventions for this but now that I see it it's actually incredibly cool
All I got from this video is; Jacques Ze Whipper is powerless without his mustache
The longer I'm on the internet, the more I realise that there are thousands of very specific communities out there for sorts of hobbies and interests and often those communities are a decent size and you generally have very little idea it exists until suddenly you encounter it and a whole world opens. It's very cool but also overwhelming the part of me that wants to 100% life and wants to be involved in everything 😂

Jacques is quite the performer. You can see it in his stance. He doesn't just whip crack, he does it with flair.

This was actually pretty interesting. Had no idea that there were such a thing as whipping conventions. I'm glad that guy is keeping them going. It seems a good way to meet people with same interest, make friends, and have fun.
I love that the whole convention was started mainly to see friends and have fun with them, now that's a life goal right there. Spending time and catching up with friends.
