    If I was in Akihabara and someone took a video of me and uploaded it on KZread and my friends saw it, I might be mocked so I would definitely avoid being video-ed by anyone while there.

    Glad I watched your video I was in Akihabara yesterday and wanted to go to maid cafe but I couldn’t remember if the warning about credit card scams in the bars Shinjuku or maid cafe was also on the do not go list. If it’s a safe bet I’d dropped the $30 to experience it.

    So far 4 days in Tokyo and you have used less than 10% of the JR Rail pass's value. The only way the JR pass can break even now is by taking multiple Shinkansen from Tokyo to say Hakata now.. For Maid Cafes, I would prefer AtHome over Maidreamin :) Also not having an IC Card is really hurting you as you cannot take Tokyo/Toei Metro/Keikyu/Tobu/Seibu/Odakyu without resorting to buying tickets from the machine.

    It's good to document JP but please, think about of censoring the faces of the persons in the video around you even if they have masks on. It is important in every country to do this, because if someone would find their own face in a random video, you could get some kind of punisment/trouble in the channel later.

  • @Color-Theory

    @Color-Theory

    Welllllll you are half right. Filming in public for non commercial purposes is perfectly legal in Japan, and censoring people's faces is unnecessary. Things change when you start doing things professionally. KZread vlogs seem to fit somewhere in the middle, which means you can argue either way. In this case, he asks if it is ok to film and stops his camera when they say no. That's better than a lot of people already.

    I keep hearing you say no foreigners there's no where else left in the world except (North Korea etc) where that would be ecceptable. Japan is still 99.1% Japanese it my be easier to go for 90 days but they certainly don't want foreigners there permanently. In real terms that you could argue that there in fact a racist country that toll

    Nah dude. As long as you can live and respect their culture, foreigners wouldn't have an issue being a resident of Japan. My wife and I have been living here for 15 years now. I have coworkers, all of them foreigners (from the US, Nigeria, UK, and many countries in Asia) and we all have been living here for more than a decade without issues.

    @@LJE69 Maybe you can't, don't try to, or don't wanna speak Japanese and respect our culture. Such attitude is not welcomed anywhere obviously. It's good for us that Japanese people are perceived as xenophobic in order to keep such foreigners away.
