I Went to a Japanese Underground Idol Live Show and Loved it!

The Japanese underground idol music scene is full of various artists performing in diverse musical genres. The underground live show that I went to was at the iconic Japanese live house, Heaven's Door, in Tokyo, Japan.
The five musical acts performing were KOSAME, ぱぴちぇすたん連合第3惑星, MCあんにゅ, 堕天使Project, and Aphrodite. All the performances were creative, original, and full of energy. It was a very entertaining show.

I think it is great that you show different people and give them a chance to broaden our minds. The mixture of hardcore and angelic voices switching is something. Like Baby Metal you get a blended taste. I am like you thinking about the performers voice but there must be training involved that reduces their risk of damage. It is powerful though!

That was awesome, she's very talented and have a strong performance. I didn't knew her so that was my first time seeing her work and this channel too. Very interesting video man, keep it up. I hope that in near future I can go to japan to see my favorite idol groups, I'm a fan of some of the mainstream ones like nogizaka46, akb48 and morning musume but I'm starting to see more and more of underground idols like Pikarin and some others.

normally they're really protective and don't like cameras at gigs .. maybe they've lightened up over the last couple of years .. I wonder if your "manager" friend is the guy who looks after Necronomidol ?? He looks kinda familiar .. hard to tell with the mask

Hope you'll take a look at the upper underground too. Of course you won't have the easy access and freedom Derek provides nor likely be able to film much of anything as far far fewer groups allow it higher up. So maybe not good for business, but I do consider it to basically be a different scene than either this or the stuff like Nogizaka, so it should be experienced as well. Tickets are on sale later today for an event at O-East on 4/26 (tuesday). It's 2200 yen if bought in advance. +Drink charge. None of my absolute favorites are there as they seem to have switched from festival mode to release events and solo gigs for April, but I think it's a good lineup. 「アイドル甲子園 in Spotify O-EAST」

"On January 31, the Juvenile Development Division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department announced the arrest of two men on suspicion of violating the Tokyo Metropolitan Ordinance on the Healthy Development of Youth. The suspects, Tanabe Ryoya (25) and Honda Koichiro (22), who were active as men’s underground idols (commonly known as men’s underground), were arrested on suspicion of committing indecent acts with underage women." "The Honda suspect worked at a men’s concept cafe (a.k.a. Menkon) in Kabukicho while working as a men-underground idol and indecently assaulted a girl in her third year of high school in the VIP room of his store."
