    Gene, that was awesome! The expedition episode was great too - more of those, please! The Wedding Special too, I mean it was great but let’s keep it a one-off, we all like Kari 😎🤟 P.S. I moved to the EU and still have that tiny light you sent me from a giveaway. I totally forgot about it and thought Sam was up to no good when he reached out! 😂 5 yrs, flew too fast!

    Gene, you’ve made a lot of great videos over the years, but this was far and away the best. The pace and edits were perfect. Nothing was on screen too long or felt awkward, as most KZread videos do. And the timeline of going to the premiere, interviewing the actors and showing how challenging that skill is, was fantastic - as though it was a segment for a network. I was in it the whole way, never thought about lighting, angles, cameras, just the story you were sharing. Definitely more of this, you really are good with interviews. Well done man!

    All I have to say is, you getting fired up creating something where you're learning stuff has got ME fired up to continue pushing myself outside my comfort zone. • @pabloarribas550
    @pabloarribas55010 күн бұрын

    Awesome episode. This makes me think that acting comes from within and it applies to the character, in case the actor can give their own version of what is required. If actor's version of the character fits what the director had in mind, we have a match. The reason of not getting a part on a film is not exclusively related to your performance as an actor (that's your ego), is not determined whether did well or not, is more determined because your version of the character fit the director's vision, or if your self could feel the character and see it with empathy. This should encourage actors to keep going, learning, and taking the casting process with a little grain of salt. It is incredible how 5 minutes of a (great) Acting teacher can teach you more than a bachelor degree haha. That seems to me, be the philosophy of acting. Thank you Potato for the experience! Hugs from Chile

    Immensely interesting, engaging and enjoyable. Thanks for demonstrating how a pro interviewer prepares, listens, and behaves (with enthusiasm and joy). I'd love to hear Howard Fine talk about casting, and what he thinks of productions that take on unprepared actors for a variety of unfathomable reasons. And contrariwise, how brilliant, responsible casting directors think and work. Hm, is that a topic for a video? Talk to Debra Zane? How the hell did they get so many believable female police on Bosch? But I'm rambling, bad habit at age 82. Loved this.
