One of the drawbacks of the new tram timetable is that, from North Pier, there's a 25 minute gap between the T2 from North Station-Starr Gate and the next T3 from Fleetwood. There's been a fair few complaints about the new timetable being too infrequent, and BT have released a survey asking if people would like an alternative, more frequent service but with the T1 from Starr Gate only running to Bispham, insufficient tram crews being available to increase services as they stand. The Renegade Councillor himself, Paul Galley has posted this on his Facebook!

No extra trams, just re-routed the existing fleet, bad enough trying to get on one in the holidays especially on Fleetwood market days. Just my view but a total waste of money (£23 million) for 600 yards of track to totally disrupt a pretty good coastal service.

Best fish and chip shop in Blackpool is Bentleys Fish and Chips. They are gorgeous! (located on a corner of Bond Street and Withnell Road, near the Pleasure Beach)

I'll have to get fish and chips from there there's a good one in Lytham St Ann's thanks for sharing Stephen 👍

Since the North Station extension, the Southbound tram timetable has a 25/5 minute frequency split. Northbound services are balanced at every 15 minutes but it's a bit bunched up Southbound. Blackpool Transport are having a consultation on how best to improve the timetable at the moment.

The Fish & Chip tram tour is great. I've done that a few times and at £12, very good value for money.

The wife and I and our family were in Blackpool 2 weeks ago we were going to papas for our fish tea when we got there it was closed seemly it had had a fire so we never got to try papas .

Went the other year, had steak and ale pie and chips eat in, the pie was cold in the middle, the fish and chips looked ok, would never have the pie there again

Brilliant views mate, went to papas on good Friday with the family, we all had cod chips peas with drinks etc. we all left half of it, fish looked nice but was dry as a bone, as though it had been cooked for ages and kept warm, chips, peas average. Probably unlucky on the day. Won't be going again though, get better fish and chips from smaller family run businesses. For 5 of us cost a fortune. Probably going to get battered now calling them ha ha. Great video Stephen, cheers.

Must admit I do love Papa's. Often go to the one in Cleethorpes which has a stunning restaurant area. I've been to the Blackpool one once and it was nice. The Scarborough one is very hit and miss though.

I can certainly vouch and agree with Stephen, those Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas are gorgeous, very tasty too and by all means, do the Fish & Chips Heritage Tram Tour, awesome value and you get to see lots of the Prom and Golden Mile.

That's a huge piece of fish! Chips look very nice as well! I wonder how warm it is in Blackpool? Here in upstate New York it is hot and humid! Pop-up showers as well. Like the trams as well!

I have been to Papa's three time twice in 2022 once in 2023 the last time I had to wait a while to get my fish and chips I sat inside, they have no doubt a good fish but the batter was too thick had to leave that.

I must admit I didn’t have a great food experience at Papas. This was however a few years ago but it was sufficient to encourage me not to return ….. quite similar to Harry R. Returning to Blackpool September and if I don’t find a good fish n chip experience…. It might be ‘kicking off again in Blackpool’ 😂. Great vlogs Stephen 👍

I am very health conscious and despite this enjoy some good fish and chips especially from my local chippy. Some chippies I find not good with dry chips and not succulent fish. I got some shockers at the seaside and wound up feeding the gulls. The trick is to ask the locals perhaps.

Yorkshire Fisheries often gets mentioned as one of the best, along with Bentley's at south shore.

Your very Generous Portioned piece of Cod looked really Succulent and Delicious, Your Chips were just Perfect, Your Mushy Peas did look very Tasty. Served to You in a very Good Quality Container with the PAPAS livery on the outside of it. Glad you Enjoyed your meal Stephen. The people, that you meet Stephen are very Lovely and Welcoming. Rather different but a very Good video my Friend. I thought that you really did very Well eating that Huge 5 Stack Burger at Chris Higgits Burger Bar Stephen. Hi Stephen really enjoyed the video and yes I would love to be there it looks glorious when the sun is shinning we have a papas but I've never been to it I like to go to Hornsea there is an award winning fish shop and restaurant there and there chunky chips are amazing I'm not a lover of fish being a fishermans daughter ,we lived of it in the 60s and 70s it put me off fish for life 😊😊 your only missing a can of beer in your hand and you will be looking like one of your beer monsters hanging around the bus shelters 😂😂😂 ❤❤

Hi Stephen my wife and I stayed at the premier inn North pier for a couple of days from beginning of July Monday to Friday we had a good time but the weather was a bit cold and windy I was hoping I would have seen you I would have got you a drink 🍸

Wow how did you manage them so soon after The MacMaster made you eat a large portion at that Seaside place followed by a 5 stack The Wildside burger over at Higgitt’s. Looked good nevertheless but as ever the seagulls are like vultures.

I've been to Papas & Mother Hubards I had sausage chips & gravy from both of them & I like both, but for me, personally, even though Papas gave me more chips. Mother Hubbards gave me a jumbo sausage & because it was cheaper, I have to go for Mother Hubbards 🎉

Apparently you paid a reasonable price! Great location Stephen! Seagulls no problem in the shelter. I love these birds. But carry something to wave at them and they will stay away. It’s not rocket science.
