Neah Bay! For a completely off topic reaction: first and only time I heard of that place, was in 1973. The rockband Redbone recorded their ‘We were all wounded at Wounded Knee’, which made it to number 1 of the charts for over a month in the Netherlands (and Belgium). So they did a concert here, in the Netherlands, western Europe - and 20yr me was there. The Native American band worked from LA - which sounded relatively common - but drummer Pete DePoe was from the Makah nation in Neah Bay. In those (all paper) days you needed a pretty detailed world map to find my Netherlands, but finding Neah Bay was almost impossible. That’s how you engrain stuff in your brain, forever… Thanks Casey for taking me there, both for the view and the memories.

23:00 speaking of heavy, speed will negatively effect your bypass chance too, in wa and id. If you are always getting pulled into the WIM scales, try slowing down to 55 over the pads, like on i90 and i82. I used to get pulled into the Plymouth scale on i82 all the time, but i was almost always empty since i passed it on my way home for the weekend, but going 60 over the pads got me pulled in. Going 55 just for that section resolved that issue

In the UK we have the DVSA who control everything to do with commercial vehicles, they have a traffic light system to rate companies, I was working for a green light coach company but in six months I got controlled ten times (nothing wrong in any control) on the eleventh stop I asked why I was being stopped so much, the guy went and checked his computer and told me my registration had a red light even though the company was green, a green company can not have a single vehicle as red, he apologised for stopping me and said he had looked at all the stops I had and couldn't believe that no one had noticed before, I wasn't stopped again in the next five years.

I have driven all the sections from Newport to Boise and some in Wyoming and Nebraska, but I have put driving the whole length on my bucket list. Casey, that 1/2 hr rest at the truck stop was done wrong, you didn’t block the fuel island……..

We've got a truck at my company that's been doing a parked regen almost weekly, and it's only a year old. Mechanics swear there's nothing wrong with it. I'd say that two in the time you've owned it isn't really a big deal
