The Shakespeare piece you’re looking for is an adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Felix Mendelssohn written in 1842- which included the famous Wedding March. (To compare, Shakespeare was around in the 14-1500s) There are no funerals associated with it.

The fact that Derek made a return in the Monsters Vs Aliens show and Susan gladly didn’t take him back still

I'll never get why so many people dislike this movie. It's hilarious. Plus I love the references to old sci-fi B-movies, The voice cast is great, and I like Susan's arc of accepting and embracing her new self.

Literally. And I'm not big on the whole "strong woman doesn't need no man" thing movies are pushing nowadays, but this movie is a great example of that idea done correctly, naturally- she's just herself and the guy she was with was unfortunately scum, she didn't need a man to love herself when it's clear before in the beginning she would give up all her own dreams for him!

My dad was 6'6 & my mom was 5'3 but said she was 5'5. Funny to see them hug or kiss lol. I'm 5'7 but was adopted, but my step siblings (mom's kids from her 1st husband) were all 5'7 or shorter for the girls. Their dad was 5'10. But we still had lots of people stare at us because we were with a "giant." Dad was never bothered by it though & loved riding roller coasters with us, even though it took a few extra seconds to get those long legs in!!

I remember Honey I shrunk the kids, and Honey I blew up the baby.

@@TEDDYBEAR-hw4qtwe’d be too far away to even be heard via radio signals, aliens for sure exist in an infinite universe with infinite time, it’s a matter of a few things, 1. are we alive simultaneously with them, 2. are they within our galaxy to hear our radio signals and have any chance at making it here within our (collective) lifetimes, 3. the aliens are technologically advanced enough for space travel to our planet & 4th & finally, would we have anything worth of value to offer them in the event of something like a hostile invasion or do we have anything intellectual enough for them to want to visit us and learn from us, which, if they can make it to our planet, but not us to theirs, we are probably not as scientifically or technologically advanced as them to bother

This movie came out the same year me and my sister were born. When I was younger; I was Sad That Susan and Derek didn’t get together. But now that I’m older. Susan Deserves better. 11:33 Yo, Me and The President Have the same forehead. The Greatest showman is so good. So many good songs and the casting, Hugh Jackman, Zendaya, and Zac Efron. All perfect.😍#Bingers 36:42 I didn’t even know there was an End credit.

Oh, it goes waaay farther back than _Honey, I Blew Up the Kid._ While Susan is based on the title character of cheesy '50s b-movie _Attack of the 50 Foot Woman,_ the syringe-in-the-foot scene is a direct spoof of the goofiest moment in _The Amazing Colossal Man._ (Unfortunately due to rights issues _The Amazing Colossal Man_ is a little difficult to obtain or watch "legitimately" but _Mystery Science Theater 3000_ did a great episode on it.) All the monsters are based on '50s creature features; Missing Link is _The Creature from the Black Lagoon,_ B.O.B. is _The Blob,_ Doc Cockroach is _The Fly,_ and Insectasaurus is _Mothra._ Even individual scenes (the 3-D ping-pong paddle, the couple who investigate the meteor) are twists on b-movie cliches.

When your definition of "monster" is to deviate from the standard , then yes, she can be considered a monster. The tallest ever know man was 2.72 meters / almost 9 feet, while Susan stands at 15.21 meters / 49 feet and 11 inches. Genetically though she should still be human.

As a 15 year old that grew up on Honey I Blew Up the Kids, I'm glad to say my parents raised me right!

This used to be my favorite movie as a child I don’t even know how I discovered it but, it ended up being one of my favorites animations of all time.

My cousin is 6' 9" and plays minor league baseball. Last I heard, he played for Toronto.

Oh and the point where you see the good in all the bad! What a great video to raise my spirits. I never got that message as a kid watching this.
