What's even more messed up about Spider-Mans passing is that his "Spider Sense" must be going crazy during that moment. *DEAD* *YOU'RE* *DEAD* It's why he's freaking out so much before even having a part of him disappear. He knows death is coming and pleads to Tony for help. He's still just a kid in Highschool. That scene hit me hard.

Me personally, I would've used the blasters on Thanos' eyes and gone to town I mean, dude's a titan and Quill is only human-- if he really wanted to do some damage while Thanos was in such a vulnerable position, that probably would've been the most realistic thing to do I don't know exactly how durable Thanos is, being that he's (as far as I understand) a Deviant and/or an Eternal(? or whatever the Eternals are), or if he has a healing factor, but I feel like some point blank energy blaster spam might do some permanent damage while also taking a huge blow to his combat abilities

In my opinion the only one more successful who is also mainstream would be Emperor Palpatine. The man lied and cheated his way to become chancellor of the galaxy with nobody suspecting a thing. Orchestrated a war where he was the puppetmaster of both sides, forced his ancient enemy into accepting an army designed to kill them, utterly eradicated that same enemy, and became the sole ruler of the galaxy with borderline no opposition. The only thing that did him in was when he got a little too cocky after about 25 years of being emperor. "So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause."

It's very easy to blame Star-Lord as being a big reason they lost the battle. But you have to remember, Strange saw all of those possible futures, and only ONE had a victory for the Avengers. You think he wouldn't do everything possible to ensure that that future was the one that came to pass? So then, why did he not focus some of his power into stopping Quill when he was confronting Thanos? And as you said, why would he sacrifice the Time Stone for Tony's life when, just a short while earlier (before viewing the possible futures), he'd said that he would sacrifice Tony and Peter if it meant keeping the Time Stone safe? Because it was part of Strange's plan. That was why he said to Tony, "There was no other way." They lost this battle, but now they have to find another way to win the war.

@9:11 even when the world is in trouble, Tony still lands the best jokes. The four lackeys that were with Thanos are the Black Order: Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, and Cull Obsidian. Remember when Nebula said to Gamora that she was the sibling she hated the least? The Black Order are also Gamora and Nebula’s siblings by adoption. @24:29, @34:47, and @43:40 lol hahahahahahaha!!!!!! Those who theorized about Red Skull returning were right. The army of aliens that attacked Wakanda are called Outriders. As Groot vanished, “I am Groot” in that moment was him saying “dad…”. If you look closely, Wanda welcomed death. At that point, she felt she lost everything. Spider-Man’s vanishing was the most painful to watch. Back in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tony did say that he’d feel responsible if Peter died and didn’t want that piled on his conscience. The Russo Brothers knew what they were doing. Spider-Man has been a fan favorite for years, and the MCU’s incarnation is a high school teen with a lot of potential. That’s why they made his death slow on purpose. Just before he vanished, he apologized to his mentor feeling he didn’t do enough to stop Thanos but he gave it his all.

A very important detail about Hulk/Thanos bout; after the first few hits Thanos knew he couldn’t let the fight linger so then with the combos he did, he was hitting strategic nerve points to incapacitate Hulk quickly and not waste time on a full out fight… The producers didn’t outright say that, but it’s fairly obvious if you pay attention to how he hits Hulk and the idea that Thanos has a lot of experience with every planet he’s invaded🤷🏾‍♂️

So wrt Thanos's idealogy: it's easy to miss, but in the first GOTG movie, when they were all captured on Xandar, there were like character profiles. If you paid attention there, you would notice that Gomora is actually the last of her kind remaining. We know Thanos culled her planet "manually" (without the stones) and that was the effect. So him saying people are better off may be a misconception on his part, since I don't think he actually goes back to the planets he culled to check if he actually made a positive difference.

  • @Pohgrey

Vision really is one of the most powerful Avengers. His "skin" is made with vibranium so he's impervious to a lot of things. The thing is, Corvus Glaive's glaive is made from special materials and might even be enchanted. He really messed Vision up when he snuck up and stabbed him on the back with it early on. That weakened him for the rest of the movie.

They’re both extremely op in there own respective but they have to have a weakness of some kind otherwise it’s boring and a cope out card they can always use to win and the shows/movies become predictable
