I'm just thinking that the I'm Groot things are "literally" what he says. I mean, the other aliens like gamora or drax may be speak on their own so the translator worked to translate their language. but, the I'm Groot are the only things he spoke and somehow it has a different mechanism with a literal translate. Like a hidden gestures,or expression, or anything else starlord and the other read from groot. I know my English bad, but I hope you're understand what I'm saying. That is my opinion

I know a couple people who have passed out just in tuxes on stage, I can only imagine what the actors had to go through with their heavy costumes and prosthetics.

On set, they were playing the soundtrack for the movie all the time. Probably why Ronin was dancing lololol

When Quill says homes families and normal lives he can also be referring to draw who lost his wife and daughter, Gamora who lost her home to Thanos, and Peter who got taken by Yandu so he had to Start a new life in space

This video wasn't saying he wasn't referring to the people he was talking too, that point is pretty obvious in the movie. What The Canadian Lad is saying is that the experiences of Gamora, Rocket, and Drax have a strong parallel with Tony, Cap, and Thor

Star Lord could’ve offered the dance off because he saw Ronan dancing. Ronan’s reaction did convey feeling of anger because he could’ve been embarrassed that Star Lord noticed it.

Rocket laughing at Peter about the prosthetic leg is one of my favorite moments from the entire MCU.

Love how Drax was ready to square up on Quill when he called them losers.

In avengers endgame when Tony was sleeping after recording message for pepper Tony's eyes where looking same as starlord when he was saving gamora in guardians of the galaxy This tells us that the oxygen was getting over as Tony told before and the atmosphere of the ship was getting like outter space that time

Ronan wasn’t “dancing” in my opinion I was taught to do that when standing for a long period of time so it maybe took multiple takes and he was doing it to help be able to stand longer

I feel like his moving leg is just him doing it in anticipation of killing the Gaurdians.

There was also a Skrull in one of the Collecter's containers. Edit: I found another detail! when rocket was scanning stan lee it was in skrull characters.

i noticed the translator for the first time in my most recent watch through and it was literally jaw dropping. it's amazing how small of a detail that is yet it enhances the movie by so much

My mind is blown... I've never recognize that the guy of the slicing throat was actually giving the sign to Gamora, before the scene with Drax!

Also, his later family (as in his "children" ) he sacrifices like pawns, abuses the shit out of one and throws the one he apparently actually cares for down a cliff. The only thing he lost was his home, the other 2 things he threw away for his insane plan.

let me tell you one detail miles was animated at 15 fps at the start at the movie but peter parker was animated at 25 fps showing that he was more refined than miles but when miles finally become the perfect spiderman he was animated at 25 fps showing that he is now perfect spiderman.

You missed one detail. After Gamora zips her ravager suit, she reaches for... that thing that is supposed to cover the zipper. Also, in the very next scene she's suddenly wearing gloves (which weren't present in the previous scene).

Honestly, I think this man is the closest ever to giving the MCU the appreciation it deserves. Well done Lad.

Guardians is easily my favourite film from the MCU. James Gunn truly did this film spectacularly, took a space themed movie and did not make it feel like a typical space movie; there was something so different about it, possibly in large part the music that is just so far from the music one would expect In a space themed film

The logo on the candy wrapper in the drawer that also contains Awesome Mix Vol. 2 ends up appearing on Quill's t-shirt in GOTG: Vol. 2.

Something that I noticed from the first time I saw the movie is that the cut in his hand that Gamora made him when throwing a knife in his hand so he drops the orb is kept throughout the rest of the movie. I think it's a cool continuity detail

When they were all escaping the prison, Rocket mentioned that Drax's species take everything literally, and all idioms fly over their head, and Drax says, "Nothing flies over my head, I would catch it." So during Quill's speech, he said "To give a shit." How did Drax know he wasn't being literal at the time?

When cap said gather everyone in age of ultron when he turn to the side his shield become blue like his stealth suit in the beginning in winter soldier so you missed that as well uhn uhn

There was also a Skrull in one of the Collector's cabinets and when he is telling Carina not to touch the Power Stone, I don't know if it was it but there was something in the middle left that looked like The Aether.

When Peter was running away/to someone on Nova Corp, there are tubes with the colors matching the Time, Space, Reality and Mind stone(all in order). Later we see that 2 tubes, the red and blue are missing in it.

I’ve just rewatch this movie and noticed a detail that I don’t know if is note worthy in the scene where we first see the orb and it’s rolling on the ground at 9:17 I saw what looks like a depiction of the infinity stones there are six colored stones in the ground and we can see that same depiction when the collector is opening it

The last detail ,the speech given by peter kind a feel similar to that of captain america in endgame while they were going back in time where rocket taunted about it

In the scene where groot lights up a room in ronan’s ship peter quill answers drax’s question of “when did you learn to do that?” With “pretty sure the answer to that is i am groot” groot nods in approval at quill.
