Lime it could be a whole flashback scene. Who knows, maybe he killed his old war buddies son and that's why he feels so guilty for this specific death.

Batroc’s bullet necklace is actually called a hog’s tooth. It’s based on the sniper superstition that there is ultimately one round bullet to end the life of each person, "the bullet with your name on it. So untell you’re bullet is fired you are inviceble. Or so the superstition goes.

Bucky looking over his back in the restaurant is a military training habit, also it's a sign of his PTSD. He cannot relax enough without seeing the area around him some vets will sit facing the entrance just so they can react if something goes down.

Bucky sleeping on the floor reminds me of his line in The Winter Soldier, when suggesting Steve to come live with his family after the funeral: “we can put the couch cushions on the floor, like when we were kids.” I’d like to think he does that because it’s something that’s familiar and brought him joy in the past (spending time with Steve).

Just to clarify, when the ‘lovely lady’ said that “half the fish in the sea came back” she wasn’t talking about actual fish, she was talking about other women. “Fish in the sea” is an expression that people use when talking about other women (or men) out there to date.

Let's not forget that before he got involved with the Avengers, Sam was working in counseling at the VA. It's only natural for him to try and connect with Bucky, a soldier with some extremely heavy baggage, and help him become normal again.

the camera work while Bucky talks to the therapist is some of the best I've seen in the mcu truly 10/10

He’s suffering more than Steve, not just isolation but extreme guilt. Also Sam’s inner conflict is amazingly conveyed in

"How does it feel?" "Like it belongs to someone else." US Agent shows up: Sam: Except him.

Remember in Civil War when Tony asks Bucky if he remembers Tony's parents and Bucky replies he remembers them all. Now when you see how is Bucky suffering, it adds even more weight.

One thing I noticed second time watching the flashback, you can see the winter soldier’s silhouette on the stained glass ceiling during the lobby shot. It’s how the whole civilian conversation exists in Bucky’s memory. He was there when it happened. We cut from the lobby when we do, because you can see Bucky leave to continue stalking his target and infiltrate the hotel.

I feel like the writing for this show is much more realistic than the movies, even just small statements by the characters such as "you good?" Or Sam saying "can you not?" It feels like real people and I hope this becomes the new standard.

It’s because they have more room to stretch as writers. In a movie every single bit has to have purpose to drive it forward. If they DO include stuff like that, it ends up being edited out. This format gives them more flexibility.

Agreed, I felt this the most when Sam was talking to his sister at the boat it felt like 2 siblings having a real, adult conversation on how to carry on their parents' business .

In civil war, we can see a blanket on the ground in buckys apartment, which i think is his 'bed' foreshadowed movies before

LOL. That was a BIG whoosh on the “fish in the sea” line. 😂

I love how the fight scenes are just like action movie fight scenes..

@@bradleytaniguchi1187 when looking it up, the candlestick phone was popular around the time Bucky and Steve might have been in the war and got “frozen in time”. Bucky said that he’s 106 ( when on the date, the barista asked how old he was and he immediately said it, making me think that that’s his actual age) and if you subtract 2024 (or 2025) that’s gets you to around 1918 which would be his birth year. Most men went into war around late teens to early 20’s. That would get you to the 20’s/ 30’s.

12:08 notice the line *"Where do we go, Now that they are gone..."* same line was there in Endgame when cap is giving therapy sessions to people.

The conversation between torres and falcon makes falcon keep that “you’re hitting on me” face.

I'm only a minute into the video, but everyone remembers Tony sacrificing himself, but not many remember that Natasha did the same for the soul stone :(.

This show literally inspired my family and I to name my baby brother one of the most heartfelt and badass characters in this entire show and I thank marvel for that.

I have a theory for Bucky having a nightmare , in the further episodes you can see Bucky saying that a part of winter soldier is still in him and we all know that it could be triggered until it was cured , what if sleeping on the floor triggers those nightmares because he used to sleep on the floor during the early stages of him being a winter soldier and in episode 6 , he doesn't get a nightmare when he sleeps on the couch ?

8:20 She wasn't speaking literally about fish. It's a phrase like when you break up with someone and your friend tells you "there are plenty of other fish in the sea" meaning other people to date.

I love how Bucky and falcon act like little kids laughing out lol. Or should I say the black falcon according to the kids in the second episode lol.

I really teared up on bucky's scenes. His hydra days really took a toll on him.

the ending really hit me it’s so disrespectful to Sam in every way possible that was just dirty man.

whenever you see the flag smashers they play Bucky's "theme" for shadowing they are in fact super soldiers, which we later find out to be the case, just a thought :)

I love that he literally mentioned that he was gonna talk about the son and he literally did I minute later he takes about it and ended with tone minute exactly

It would probably really hurt the old man Yuri to find out that he'd been drinking with his son's killer. It's sad all around

I Find one BIG Coincidence, The Episode is titled ''New World Order" and That word is a Lyric in Eminem's Song ''Lose Yourself" which is a Song From 8 Mile and Anthony Mackie who Played Sam Wilson/ Falcon also played a Character in 8 Mile

8:10 Half of the fish in the sea does not refer to Literal Fish. In English, "The fish in the sea" is a term used to express the dating market. And "catching fish" is equated to landing a date. She was referring to dating.

I think the term “half the fish in the sea came back” was referring to how fish meant women, or possible dates. Like when people say “there are a lot more fish in the sea”

Yea I agree, when the girl said “sense half the fish in the sea came back” she was talking about the saying referred to dating. But it is also confirmed that half of the animals were dusted also, becuase Ant-man knew the plan worked when he saw the birds in endgame

Love your video you do say some things that I don’t notice or you go into more detail. One thing I want to point out is that They are not only missing not having Captain America Iron Man around but they don’t have Black Widow either. And the subtle brilliance and genius of the character was that not only was she able to emotionally anchor them, but she was a chief strategist and also knew how to maintain calm in the face of conflict.

@@Iamniyas17 Did watch it, while it was better than the first, it had so much that could have hit the cutting room floor. It was quite obvious from the whole thing that WB basically gave in to Snyder's wishes for that movie even to the point of having in 4:3 format (ewwww) as a way to apologize for basically being the ones responsible for firing him in the first place. And the only reason they did it, because they want their version of MCU and they keep striking out with DC movies.

At 8:26 when she says "have you dated ever since half the fish came back" is a hit to the phrase there's plenty of fish in the sea meaning there are a lot of girls out there not just one that you could date.

Hey man, love your videos too pieces, huge fan Given the context, the "half the fish in the sea" reference wasn't talking about fish, but rather romantic partners, as in the expression "there's plenty of fish in the sea" asking him if he had done much dating since half the population came back. Again, love your work Canadian Lad, seeing a new one of your videos in my notification bar brings joy to my day.
