u get back into dota pretty fast.. i stopped for half a year recently , and it was just 1 game and i was kind of fully back in there.. doesnt take long to get ur old skill level back. takes a while to figure out how exactly the meta works though

Play unranked, mute anyone who is a dick, and remember that wins and losses don't matter because "first pick solo mid Invoker guy" fed six solo kills in lane, and you just want to land that sweet meteor hammer combo you saw on KZread just once.

I love how Huskar doesn't lvl up spears because he knows he's not going to use them anyway. And that full attack speed Viper, so good.

It's old huskar, you skip burning spear. Passive give you huge damage and you build lifesteal, you are unkillable. I feel like those herald are dota players that has not been play dota for like 7-8 years. Unaware with meta changes and all shit.

I was seriously in a very dark place mentally before watching this video and I just caught myself wheezing at that PL death.

As a techies spammer I really appreciated watching this budding artist. This is someone who clearly appreciates the art of explosions, the smell of sulfur in the air. It's beautiful. Can't diss those mines right side of mid, that's a team playing techies watching out for his core, and he bought a god damn mek. We see high mmr techies players just hiding and planting remotes but here's this guy actually trying to help his team! I want to see more of his work lmfao

The 1812 Overture was the cherry on top of this vid lmao. Keep doing these, Jenkins my man. The heraldlympics is just an absolute gold mine of content. XD

I absolutely love watching Herald games. A lot of times I'm sitting there going, "NO! NO! Don't do---" *death occurs* and other times I'm going, "Oh this isn't going to end we.... Wow! That worked!" It's the surprise factor that makes these so enjoyable! You don't see the plot twists coming!

@@guyfawkes4578 Sad, I'm ancient and I still encounter some supports who don't ward most of the time (literally 3 obs in shop at the 7 min mark), don't stack camps, and don't really zone/harass in lane.

@@felixyuen8225 Oh yeah, that's more prevalent in Herald of course. Stacking is something a few supports do, but it's there. Warding and dewarding though is common. But all of that goes to shit because more often than not you get at least a 4-carry team.

As a longtime League player, I kinda want to try Dota 2 now. The added complexity seems fun.

I also thought of the 1812 overture when I saw those mines explode. Very nice

@@yimkumerjamz1225 I picked viper to counter huskar, and PL. I picked my talent for W cooldown reduction and made my items ( SHARD and AC) all for drow to dish out damage. As a herald, I was proud of my understanding of that one specific game. Still shit at the game tho. 😂😂

Jenkins, I have been playing this game since DOTA 1 days (my username is my AOL screenname from way back, and I'm past the point of changing it haha). But Thank you for being a positive voice and having fun with the game. Your last video last portion mentioned "its a game, have fun"!! Agree too many people have the thinking of MMR being end all be all, but then it leads to people stressing and just being unhappy. I played ALOT of ranked from 2014-2017 but I will say it was not as much fun as me playing unranked/turbo now. Also love your commentary dude, keep it up! Wish you the best of luck
